For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Prescribed because fibroids and polyps (and probably pre-menopause) made period flow unbearable. CONS: -If I don't take the pill at exactly the same time every day, have 4 days of medium flow between cycles. Happened 3 times. Can't even be 20 min late or early. Felt like 3 periods in one month (every other week). -Cramps much worse than before. Still happen between cycles too. Often need Tylenol mid-sleep. -Clots huge unless I preemptively take Advil every few hours. -Breasts sensitive to point of aching sometimes. -Period can be a week earlier or later than the previous one, so planning is impossible PROS: -Actual period flow is slightly more manageable than before. -Spotting between cycles much less (sometimes not at all) unless I screw up my dose time. SUMMARY: If I take pill on time with 100% accuracy, period is slightly better. But my quality of life feels like it has declined due to the stress the side effects have added to it."

For Birth Control "I was on Errin for about 4 months. I was following my doctors orders and the prescription orders and set my alarm for 9am everyday to take the med. I faithfully took it when my alarm went off. During my 5th month taking the med, I ended up pregnant. I can't take a combo pill due to my migraines. Now I have a beautiful 10 month old daughter and I have the IUD in."

For Birth Control "After a nightmare experience with an IUD my doctor put me on ERRIN 0.35 strength birth control pills. I’ve been on it for two weeks now. It has improved my mood I haven’t experienced any mood swings so far, I’ve had some spotting but not heavy, I have been experiencing some headaches, cramping, nausea, lose of appetite and exhaustion. I’m trying to hang in there because I do love the fact my mood has stabilized. The main thing I worry about is how tired I am. I feel very drained and bloated. I’m going to give it at least 3-6 months to prove me so I will be back with an update around then"

For Birth Control "Not sure how I feel about Errin. I’ve been taking it for 3 months and I haven’t had my period and I’m super paranoid that I’m pregnant. I’ve had irregular spotting , bloated, and cramps, but It does help with not giving me migraines"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My initial experience was terrible because I would not stop bleeding and after I could not bare it anymore I went to the doctor in tears and frustration and she switched me to Slynd which is a bit of a higher mg and the bleeding stopped in about a week. Seems to be going better with the higher dosage of the pregestin. Definitely check out Slynd if the bleeding is too persistent on Errin."

For Birth Control "Started Errin due to migraines from combination pills. Errin gave me cystic acne that does not respond to any treatment which is very annoying but I’m dealing with it because this is the only BC I can tolerate. Starting in May I had a period at the beginning of the month, and end of the month, both 5 days long. (Pretty normal) No period the whole month of July or August, then 2 in September. One lasting 5 days and the other lasting 8. No period in October, and one in November. They consist of heavy clotting and very dark blood. The cramps are very uncomfortable. I also have constant breakthrough spotting which is enough to fill liners. Very inconvenient but this is what I’ll continue with."

For Birth Control "Positives: Does its job, no period, no cramps, minor mood swings Negatives: Back acne, bloat, irregular (minor) spotting, dizziness (randomly) Side effects aren't bad compared to others which is why I've stayed on this medicine for a while."

For Birth Control "I had my IUD removed due to weight gain (lost 10 pounds of water weight in 2 weeks after removal) and a month later started Errin in hopes that it would be a better fit... but I have gained weight again and feel pregnant all of the time, it's a serious bummer. Errin really helped with my anxiety though and my skin is quite clear compared to how it was before. I would recommend trying it and just being aware of your symptoms if there are any. Unfortunately I'm coming off of it starting today to lose this water weight again, uggghhhhh"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I began taking Errin for a month and I've had the worst experience ever with this birth control method. I have gained 20 pounds since taking it. There was spotting between my periods. I had extreme mood swings that were crazy ups and downs. I experienced headache anxiety and increased blood pressure. I don't recommend this b.c. to any women who is thinking of trying progestin only pill. Yes it is the mini pill but I had a horrible experience. I will just deal with my adenomyosis and heavy periods w/o birth control. Never again!"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I started taking this back in July 2019 I had been taking the combination pill form for 6 years and they switched me to this because I have Factor 5(a clotting disorder). I liked it at first no complaints but now I’m having periods every two weeks and then they stopped. And I got a cold a few days ago and woke up today to heavy bleeding. I’m not sure what to do because I was under the impression I wouldn’t have a period, maybe just some spotting but not heavy like this. I feel awful it has completely drained me."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Terrible. I had taken a combo pill years before and had no issues. This gave me heads aches, tender breasts, and irregular periods. I had two periods a week and half apart then one the lasted 10 days. I stuck it out to see if it would regulate things but it didn’t. Never again. Switching back to a low dose combo pill."

For Birth Control "I was recommended to go on Errin after the combo pill almost landed me in the hospital. I’ve seen negative reviews on this birth control previously, but tried it anyway. Within 2 weeks of being on it, I’ve noticed my hair declining in quality, my appetite is never ending, and I am bleeding for daaayyysss on end and constant breast pain and cramps."

For Endometriosis "I've been on progestin-only birth control for about 3 years. I started on Ortho-Micronor, I had a period for about 3 months straight but then my period stopped entirely. Then I moved and I was given Camila (same thing, different brand), it kept in line with the "no-period" havingness. It was great. Moved again, I was given Errin. For about 2-3 months I was ok, but I noticed some changes in my mood and some bloating. Then about 3 months in (February 2014) I had spotting. I thought maybe it would be normal after having NO period for 2 years, but then 2 weeks later I had a full-on period. Since then I've had maybe 3-4 periods in 2 months, extremely painful tenderness in my breasts. "

For Birth Control "Do NOT take this pill. I have suffered hair loss, two periods a month, heavier periods with clotting, terrible breast pain. Absolutely a nightmare. The hair loss is devastating and my hair stylist said that’s it’s dry and course now. Going off of it today!"

For Birth Control "I switched to Errin 4 months ago after learning that my migraines were likely due to the combo-pill. I have not had a single migraine since switching and I used to get them every other month. So a bit too soon to say for sure, but it seems to be helping in that regard. I had perfect skin on the combo pill and unfortunately get minor acne with Errin. My skin feels bumpy but there isn't visible acne so it could be worse. The first month I had a normal period, then no period for 2 months. During this 4th month I've had a heavy, long period that just doesn't seem to want to end. I'm hoping this goes away because the first 3 months were great. But reducing my risk of stroke and eliminating my migraines is enough for me to stay on the mini pill."

For Birth Control "Ive been using errin for 1 month. I got used to taking it routinely without getting scared that I would forget by simply putting an alarm on my phone & stashing my pill card in my wallet. So far only symptoms are major pimples all over my face and bad headaches that would last intermittently for 2 days, and tender breasts from time to time. My attitude is the same and my husband & I are making love a lot more & its better than usual. I hate the pimples only because these pimples are not easy to go away. They feel more like baby boils & I never usually have pimples...I always have clear nice skin."

For Birth Control "Been on Errin birth control pill for about 2 months. I ended my normal cycle September 3rd. On September 12th I started my period again and am still bleeding heavily. I immediately stopped after I began my period within a week of if it ending. Drinking a lot of water to try and flush everything out and hoping that this stops soon "

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was extremely weary of starting Errin after seeing so many reviews online that were negative. After several ovarian cysts and abnormal bleeding over the years, both conditions which I tried every type of alternate medicine for, I finally decided to give birth control a try again (I was originally on it from 16 through 22, then took a 10 year break as it made me feel quite ill). The mini-pill seemed like the logical decision to avoid the nausea and long list of other side effects, even though I didn’t have the best skin to start with and also had spotting at least 2 weeks per month. I’m starting my 3rd month now and not only has my skin stayed the same, my spotting went down to 3 days this month! Periods are way lighter, breasts don’t stay sore for 10 days per month, hormonal headaches have disappeared. I’m kicking myself for not trying this sooner..."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "Ok so after giving birth in 2011 to my last child I had a tubal ligation done via c-section, 2 years in after my surgery I started having problems so I coped with it for another 6 years after that I could not take it anymore so I went to see my doctor because I was bleeding for more than 15 days so she administered the depo shot and I bled for approximately 6 and a half months. So I stopped the depo and the doctor gave me a proscription for Errin birth control - worst day in my life. So after 3 months in I stopped taking the pill, now 4 months later I’m still bleeding and there are clots at this point I don’t know what to do this whole ordeal has me super depressed"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Errin for about 7 months and I have never experienced more painful period cramps. That is my only complaint while being on this birth control. Before starting this pill, I was taking Lo Loesterin Fe and I experienced terrible acne, felt depressed and emotional constantly, and gained some weight. Although the cramps have been bad with Errin, I would rather take this pill than what I did before."

For Birth Control "I took this birth control and it made my mood horrible. I got so irritable and mean. Caused my armpits to get lumps and became very sore. I got pretty severe headaches. Woke up feeling hazy. Stopped taking it right away and it all went away. Not getting pregnant is not worth the side effects. It made me miserable. Do not take this."

For Birth Control "So I’ve been on Errin for 4 months, I was on triprevifem prior but have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure at 26, so I was switched. Anyways, first month was spotty , second month I noticed if I didn’t take it the same EXACT time down to the minute I would spot. Third month was ok, still spotting here and there but didn’t have a full period. This fourth month has been ridiculous I have been spotting since the time I was supposed to get my period the last month. I’m calling tomorrow to switch back, I’m over this. One star for Errin."
