Rhopressa (netarsudil) "Began using this drug in addition to my current eye drop when my pressure started creeping up after long term use of Xalitan. Been using it now for about 2 months. It has reduced my eye pressure but I am not happy with the side effects. My eyes are always red, I've had several incidences of burst blood vessels, itchy, burning eyes, and my eyelids and area around my eyes, itch like crazy. Not sure if I want to continue the Rhopressa...will meet with my opthamologist the end of August for a follow-up. I am a 58 year old female who has been treated for ocular hypertension for 10 years."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) "I have been using Rhopressa since Dec 2018. Right eye .....I had Corneal Edema and DME .... all swelling is gone! Neither my Cornea Dr. nor my Retina Dr. can explain why. My blind left eye...pressure was reduced from 33 to 18. I am very pleased with the results. I am to remain on Rhopressa and return to both Doctors in Sept 2019."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) "I used Rhopressa for almost a year with no side effects, I thought. But my doctor took me off of it three weeks ago because she said it was causing loss of pigmentation, or something like that. For a year I kept complaining about horrible increase in floaters (very difficult to see), but she said there was nothing they could do short of replacing the vitreous surgically. But in the last week, I have noticed that almost all the floaters are gone. I had a few before rhopressa, still have a few. But I have to believe the big problem was caused by the rhopressa. I hope it did not do other damage to my eye. I will report to FDA."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) "I was warned about the red stoner eyes that I'd have for about a month, but I didn't get that far. Within minutes after using the drops, I developed an allergic reaction - shortness of breath, cold tight feeling in my chest, nausea, eventually weakness. I was hospitalized for a day and a half. During that time, I used the drops a 2nd time, under medical observation, to see if that's what caused my symptoms. It was. It's been three days since the last use and I'm just now starting to feel less weak. I'd be curious to know if others had an allergic reaction. Aside from that, my vision became cloudy, eye runny, and that is still happening. Also eyes are still bloodshot and burning. The hospital refused to return the sample when I was discharged because it was too dangerous for me."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) "I was diagnosed with ocular hypertension about 4 years ago. I kept it under control with Travatan-Z for about three years, and then the pressure started to creep up again. My doctor added Rhopressa to my regimen, and it has helped keep the pressure down (below 20). However, the Rhopressa has the unpleasant side effect of watery eyes, which gives me blurred vision - mainly when reading or at the computer. It also causes some eye irritation and redness. I've tried at least three other types of drops, but all have their drawbacks. For me, Travatan-Z has the least side effects, but doesn't seem to do the job anymore."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) "After 7 weeks pressure didn't change. The super red bloodshot eye (just 1) was unreal! Broken blood vessels were all over the eye. This from 1 drop every night. Dr stopped prescription."
