For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I get frequent yeast infections, and while I usually go to a doctor, I decided to save some time and get Monistat. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PRODUCT. I inserted it and immediately felt like I dumped gasoline in my vagina and lit it on fire. I was in tears from the itching and burning and had to flush it out. I am calling the FDA about this product because it is unsafe. I followed up and saw a doctor two days later, and they found burn marks that were bleeding along with my yeast infection. Stay safe, and if you are reading this and it has happened to you, call the FDA!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Walk the other way, ladies… do not use! Monistat 3 is so awful. I had a severe YI in my no-no spot… but this product made it burn like fire, itch more, and now my no-no spot is raw like crazy and bleeding. Whenever I pee and wipe, it stings so bad that I feel like throwing up. The ladies that do not have this reaction are lucky, and I am happy that it has worked for you… but this medication, to me, is so awful!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "On the 14th, I used Monistat for 1 day and the external itch cream. The next day, what was a minor itch had turned into a full-blown fire from hell burning down there. Later that evening, I could barely pee because of the pain from the pee hitting my lips, so my boyfriend took me to urgent care. The doctor told me to stop Monistat and gave me Diflucan. I showed my mom (who was an ICU nurse), and she said it looked like 3rd-degree burns. I came online to read that other people also have chemical/3rd-degree burns from this crap. I have had to lay on a towel the last few days to let her air out and dry as she simultaneously drips blood from the burns. Yesterday, the 18th, the outer lips were finally beginning to scab up. I accidentally sat down on the toilet lid, thinking it was just the toilet seat, and the pain from it touching my hoo-haw made me jump up, and the scabs ripped off, and I’m back to bleeding and excruciating pain. I will NEVER use Monistat again. How is this even legal?"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I truly have never felt a more crippling burn/itch sensation in my entire life. I have been in writhing agony for three hours, switching from the bath to attempting to birth the cream out to icing my labia due to the satanic fire that is inside of my body. I thought I was going to have to have an ambulance gurney my charred body and remove my reproductive organs for medical research. I think I have blisters. I saw blood. Relief is nowhere in sight."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I took it at midnight and woke up at 4:15 a.m. feeling like my cookie was on fire. I have taken this product once before and knew that it burned, but this time was different. I checked the panty liner to change it, and I was literally bleeding from it burning my insides. I suggest taking a lukewarm bath to help the burning a little bit and pop a sleeping pill because this pain is going to continue for about 6 hours after inserting. Yes, I know that the burning is the product getting rid of the yeast, but it was burning me so badly that blood was coming out is not normal."

"I had some mild itching, so I used Monistat Itch Cream. I'm in such terrible pain now, it hurts and burns when I urinate, and now I've started to bleed. The pain was so bad I almost fainted."
