For Vertigo "I started taking this at the suggestion. I read that 90% of phobias start with the inner ear (Google it), and I had been having ear issues. I was diagnosed with Ménière's disease but also have agoraphobia and anxiety too, which often accompany ear issues. This doesn't cure anything, but after being dizzy 24/7 for 2 straight weeks, I went back on it. I went off it because it gave me headaches. But I am very anti-med, but taking this really helps me to about 70 percent less dizzy."

For Vertigo "I have acute attacks of vertigo and always keep this medication on hand. I have found that it works better if you take it before the episode occurs. For example, I always have an attack when I go swimming, but if I take it before I go to the beach, I am fine. If I wait until the attack occurs, it doesn't work as well. That being said, the drug will sometimes cause heart palpitations, gives me a headache, and causes a strange mental fog that makes it hard to concentrate or carry on a conversation with anyone, it also makes me irritable."

For Vertigo "It helps with the dizziness, but be prepared to be a sleeping, worthless blob for several hours while on it and prepare to be unusually tired for several hours after the dose is supposed to have worn off. I feel like the walking dead! It's a real chore to get my work done. Until the effects have fully worn off, my advice would be to not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. I also have a headache, which is a known side effect. Better than the world spinning, I guess. I just wish it didn't make me so tired!"

For Vertigo "No warning, no reason, nausea, pressure headaches, tingly left arm, dizziness. They checked my heart and blood, and all of that was fine. I went to urgent care, and they diagnosed me with vertigo due to an inner ear effusion - I’m on meclizine 12.5 mg 3 x a day, but I can’t even manage that. The medication makes me feel like a zombie. The UC doc also has me on Zyrtec and Flonase, plus anti-nausea - I’m only 6 days into this vertigo, and I’m already over it. Please tell me how to make it stop."

Meclizine for Vertigo "This was my first time having vertigo. It lasted 4 days, and the medication helped, but by the 3rd day, my head was killing me. Don't know if this is normal."

For Vertigo "The doctor gave me 25 mg. I think this is too strong for me. Now I have a very bad headache."

Meclizine for Vertigo "I took one chewable tablet and have been drowsy and out of it for two days now. I've had severe nausea that comes in waves, dry mouth, a headache, and blurred vision this whole time. My heart rate is also very high. Overall, I feel like I'm in a daze, can't think straight, and just not very well overall. I will never take this medication again, and I hope it wears off soon."
