Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "It was effective for my allergies, however, it caused many side effects that are listed nowhere! Depression, anxiety, confusion, and sleepiness that was so pronounced I had to pull over while driving. This was the Non-drowsy formula. There are 11 other people who had similar reactions in the support in drugs.com group, under the drug name. I'll deal with my allergies rather than end up in the psych ward."

Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "First symptoms were congestion in my nose and vertigo from fluid in my ears. After a visit to an ENT, I was told to take Claritin and Flonase along with Azelastine. Worked wonders for my congestion but started to feel really foggy in my head. Back to the ENT and had a hard time describing my symptoms other than being 'off.' This brought on anxiety, did not want to drive, or leave the house. Never felt like this before. After reading the comments on here, I stopped all medication and felt better less than 48 hours after. Not 100% but headed in the right direction. Anyone else feel this way?"

Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "Read some of the reviews, says it causes confusion, anxiety, depression. I took it for 2 days. 1st day I didn’t feel anything except my ears started ringing really bad. 2nd day I took it, it caused the worst confusion of my life. Going on the day after and I still feel like rubbish. Don’t take this drug."

Loratadine "I ran out of Zyrtec and did not have a lot of money, so I opted for 2 one-packs of Claritin non-drowsy 24 hr. I have severe anxiety and moderate depression that I’ve been regulating on my own for the past 3 years. So the first night I took it, and the next day I could barely get out of bed without feeling nauseous and dizzy. I also noticed that my anxiety in the car was heightened, and I almost had to pull over because I felt so sick. I didn’t take the pill the next day, and within the next day my anxiety went away. This morning my allergies were so bad I took the 2nd pill knowing what could happen, and I’m dealing with the worst anxiety I think I’ve ever had. I couldn't get into the car without feeling like I was going to pass out. So ultimately I will not be taking Claritin anymore because, like others have reviewed also, it affected them mentally and caused anxiety and a weird head feeling. Also, it did nothing for my allergies compared to my Zyrtec."

Loratadine for Allergic Rhinitis "I was diagnosed with an allergy-induced sinus infection. I also had really itchy ears and skin patches. The Loratadine helped these problems but caused really serious CNS side effects. My PB was elevated by 30 points (154/93), with a heart rate of 68. I was in a full body shake early in the morning of the fourth day of treatment. I also experienced serious anxiety and depression problems. I stopped taking the meds and the symptoms gradually subsided throughout the day. Not a good choice for me."

For Urticaria "Oh my goodness, no way! Stay away, this is by far a very dangerous medication for some people. It's made me feel extremely strange and out of body experience. Dizziness, strange head feeling, strange thoughts, paranoia, anxiety, and depression. No one should feel this ill, but to affect your mood is a bit strange. I will not be touching this drug again."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I took one pill, and an hour later, my stomach started feeling nauseous. My heart rate was pounding and fast... it was the worst feeling ever. I had to take my anxiety meds to calm me down. I had major sweats from the medicine. I felt super nervous all day and had zero energy. I hated the feeling!! I do not recommend. Especially if you suffer from anxiety and panic."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Within an hour after taking this, I started to have formication/paresthesia on my nose. It has been more than 12 hours, and I’m still having a crawling sensation on my nose. I couldn’t sleep well, have a dry mouth, and have been feeling anxiety and nervousness. As I’m typing this, I’m still having the annoying sensation on my nose. I am hoping it will fade away ASAP. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING THIS. Zyrtec did not make me have all these side effects."
