For Emergency Contraception "I'm going to start this off by saying I was that girl who searched up every ache or pain I was having to see if it was a sign of pregnancy. I worried myself sick (I'm only 18 and leaving for my first year of college in a few weeks). I take regular birth control for acne, but I wasn't very consistent. I had sex for the first time with my boyfriend, and the condom broke, just our luck. Me being paranoid made him run out to the local pharmacy and buy My Way, and I took it within 4 hours of the incident. I had nausea for about a week, I was fatigued, my breasts were extremely sore after about 3 weeks, I had cramping and lower stomach pain. My period was about a week late, but I got it! RELAX. This pill works! Trust me!"

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex on Aug 6, 2018. My last period is July 31, 2018. I have a 28-30 day cycle each month. Lasted 6 days, but on the 7th day of my cycle, we had unprotected sex, he used withdrawal. Then, after 5 hours, I took My Way emergency contraceptives, but after a week of taking it, I had very little brown spotting and I feel lower abdominal cramping, and my breasts are sore. I also feel a little bit nauseated and always tired. I still have 2 weeks to wait for my period. My question is, is it normal to have a little bit of brown spotting? Am I pregnant for experiencing these signs and symptoms? Thanks."

For Emergency Contraception "TMI: Took MyWay pill less than 48 hours after 'slip-up.' I had already had my period this month (July 5th-9th). Slip-up happened on July 13th, and I was NOT ovulating. Got a second 'period' for lack of a better word that started July 19th as light brown bleeding. Thought nothing of it at first, but now it's been 2 weeks! Mix of brown and red bleeding with clumps and stringiness. It is now July 31st, and I'm STILL bleeding with god-awful cramping multiple times DAILY. There is NOTHING about this on the label, and it is not disclosed in any way unless you read the negative reviews customers have left on here. I highly do NOT recommend this product as I am going to the hospital tomorrow to find out what the heck this pill did to me and my body."

For Emergency Contraception "I am a 35-year-old mother of two, recently divorced. I just started dating a great guy. I'm not yet taking regular birth control. The condom he used on day 17 of my cycle slipped off while inside me (it was too small or not properly shaped for him). The condom ended up getting stuck behind my cervix (weird), but I was able to retrieve it after some panic. He did not ejaculate, but does produce a good amount of precum. I was worried, even though I knew I'd already ovulated. I decided to take My Way about five hours later. I got my period right on time. The side effects I experienced: cramping, fatigue (the whole two weeks), looser stools than normal, night sweats, moodiness, terrible three-day migraine before period. It made PMS 10x worse."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex during my ovulation period, and I waited at least two and a half days before I took this pill (so not recommended, the earlier, the better apparently), but not pregnant. But the side effects are horrible, I never cramp during my cycle. It made me cramp, heavy bleeding, just different, and it’s been about three months since I took this pill, and my period is just not the same."

For Emergency Contraception "Took My Way 6 hours after having unprotected sex. He actually came inside me with no condom on. My period was 5 days late. No pain before the period came or after taking the pill. Cramps are more intense than usual during the period, but other than that, no side effects. This pill works."

For Emergency Contraception "I had unprotected sex and took My Way within an hour afterward. I got my period a whole week early (6 days after taking the pill). Cramps were bad, but they always are. Here it is a month afterward, and I didn’t start my period for this month. I am now 8 days late for my period this month. Not sure if the pill worked for sure. I keep taking pregnancy tests, and they keep saying negative. So I'm just confused at this point. HELP!"

"Ladies, if you're reading this and worried the pill won't work, relax and try not to stress because it does. And thank you to everyone who posted their experiences, reading them helped me not stress. My boyfriend and I had protected sex on Saturday, and the condom broke at some point that I'm not sure of. I took this 6 hours later. I experienced light cramping and then got my period a few days early. I was also fertile when the incident occurred, so I was extra nervous. If you take the pill as soon as possible and before 72 hours, then you will be okay!"

For Emergency Contraception "I read reviews after taking this medication, and it made me want to throw it up immediately, but not everyone is the same, and I obviously needed it if I took it...a little less than 24 hours later, and I'm having tightness in my chest and severe abdominal cramping."

For Emergency Contraception "Had period July 9-14, unprotected sex on the 25th (supposed to be ovulating). Bought the pill and took it within 3 hours. Didn't notice any symptoms. Anyway, supposed to get my period August 8, but it never came. I was freaking out because I had spotting and pain on my right side. Bf convinced me to be patient and wait. Ten days later, I got my period with the worst cramps ever! Will take a test soon just to be extra sure, but I'm glad this worked when I had my doubts, especially during ovulation."

For Emergency Contraception "Sharing my experience with this drug. This was my first time, and I took it last Dec 10, had some bleeding 7 days later - not sure if it was a period, but I think it's just bleeding from the pill since it was not as long as my regular period. I took a pregnancy test a week after that, and came out negative. I was supposed to get my period on the 27th, but it didn’t come. 4 weeks later, I still don’t have my period. Because of the stress, I’ve been taking weekly pregnancy tests which were all negative results. I didn't get the worst symptoms, but I did notice my breasts got swollen, my stomach was bloated, and slight cramps. Thankfully, yesterday (Jan 23, 11 p.m.), I got my period! I waited until today to make sure if it's my period and not just bleeding. The flow is very different and even the color of blood. So yeah, I do recommend, but if you are sexually active, highly recommended to have a birth control plan. For anyone reading this, hopefully, you'll be fine!"
