For Excessive Salivation "I take this drug, glycopyrrolate, for excessive sweating, and it has worked wonders! I am a nurse, but I work in a lab drawing blood, and I would have sweat just running off of me. One day, a drop of sweat fell off of my nose and onto the patient's arm, and I said, 'This is it! No more!' Like I said, it's wonderful! A little dry mouth at times, but it's better than a wet head and face!"

"Been taking this medication, glycopyrrolate, for about a week and a half now for excessive sweating! I am so amazed at the results. My body's very sensitive to medication, so I take 1/2 mg in the am and the other 1/2 mg in the evening. I've dealt with excessive sweating all over my body, especially in my hands, feet, armpits, and groin for 25+ years. Tried Botox, topical solutions, iontophoresis, and OTC lotions. This, by far, has worked the fastest and has been most effective. I work out, so I didn't want to stop sweating completely, I just wanted the sweating to decrease. No side effects other than occasional dry mouth. During the summer, when I tend to sweat way more, I may increase my dosage. But for now, I'm satisfied with the results. This has definitely changed my life."

"Excessive sweating; head, underarms, face. I was amazed at how well and how quickly it started reducing my excessive sweating. I would be dripping sweat in front of clients and while working with patients. My coworkers were very supportive, but when I had a client ask me if I was okay, that was it. I went to my dermatologist. You need to start with slowly going from 1 to 2, then to 3 times a day. I will tell you, it has changed my life! It has been difficult to take 3 times daily due to work hours, but absolutely worth the push to do so."

"This drug, glycopyrrolate, has changed my life with excessive sweating! I started it about a week ago, 2 mg at nighttime, and straight away I noticed I can wear any color of clothing I wish and don't sweat through it! Even in uncomfortable situations-no sweating! This is my miracle drug, and I am so happy I found it!"

"My sister told me about this drug glycopyrrolate after experiencing excessive sweating after having her thyroid removed and/or menopausal hot flashes. I was having debilitating hot flashes due to perimenopause. I asked my doctor about it, and he hadn't heard of it being used for this reason. He first prescribed it 1 mg twice a day, and it was helping. He asked me two weeks later, and I told him, 'IT CHANGED MY LIFE.' He was ecstatic!! I informed him that I felt I could use 2 mg twice a day. It has been 2 weeks, and no hot flashes!! Gone!! I'm experiencing dry mouth, but I drink more water now. My sister said that goes away after using it for a while. Her sweating is gone!! We've decided this is a miracle drug and could help so many women in menopause. I just want to tell the world!!"

"I'm experiencing excessive hyperhidrosis since childhood. I'm 44 years old now. Recently, I did a painful Botox injection in both palms for 100 units. The doctor told me it will be around 4 to 6 months to 1 year of 90% less sweating in the areas applied, but just after less than 1 month, excessive sweating came back. I feel disappointed after paying a total of 400 dollars (that's less than the insurance already, so the total could be around 800 dollars without it). So yes, all my hope fell. I made an appointment back at the clinic and told them what happened. The doctor prescribed me a medicine, glycopyrrolate, and he will refer me to a surgery if it doesn't work. But so far, this tablet works like a charm. I've been using it for 3 days, but check your dosage and try 1 capsule first (2 mg), then do 2 if needed. 2 capsules work for me, but my mouth is so dry. Thanks."

"My dermatologist prescribed me this drug glycopyrrolate for hyperhidrosis (generalized), as I was having issues with excessive sweating all over my body, especially my scalp, face, and armpits. It was extremely embarrassing for me, for example, to play in a concert and my tux and hair to be soaked in sweat after the performance. My dermatologist prescribed me 2 mg twice daily (4 mg total), and my excessive sweating has been drastically reduced! I feel like I sweat like a normal person now! The only issues are dry mouth and constipation, but that's manageable. This medicine has definitely improved my quality of life!"

"Re update: when I first started, I was ecstatic about this drug. Completely took my sweat away. About 3 months in now, and I’m finding I built a tolerance very fast. Also takes a few hours to kick in, so make sure you plan for that!"

For Excessive Salivation "I am taking this medicine after all efforts failed in homeopathy and herbal treatment, as well as home remedies. But this has made some positive changes. Before this, I could not even think of any other work than swallowing saliva and having frustration. Finally, one doctor M.B.B.S, M.S. surgeon recommended glycopyrrolate 2 mg three times a day. Yet saliva comes, but its mantra has been decreased. I am on the 4th day of it and feeling better than before. Most importantly, I am also trying not to focus on it now when I am having improvement. I will continue it till my full improvement. It makes my mouth slightly dry, but it's okay. It seemed everything finished before taking this medicine. My doctor suggested these medicines: glycopyrrolate 2 mg three times a day, Hysex mouthwash at night after dinner, and Tab Versidep twice a day. I will not leave these medicines now because these gave me new hope."

"My PCP prescribed glycopyrrolate for excessive night sweats. I would wake up at 3:00 AM absolutely covered in sweat, needing to change the sheets constantly, and shivering so much that I would take a hot bath to wash the sweat off and bring my body temperature back up. Been using for 6 months now and no night sweats! I haven’t experienced any of the side effects. Game changer."

For Excessive Salivation "I am looking for something to reduce the amount of spit I produce. I was put in the hospital two years ago for about a week or so. Then all of a sudden, I became nonresponsive, and they had to put a tube down my throat. I am trying to avoid that situation again. Any info would be greatly appreciated."

"Glycopyrrolate has worked wonders for excessive sweating. After nearly 25 years of marriage, I can finally hold my husband's hand! I am no longer having to make a conscious effort to hide my condition from others all day long. I can grab a piece of paper off the printer at work and hold it in my hands! Finally, I feel normal! Some dry mouth and dry eyes, but it is well worth it to me. I take 2 mg in the morning and 3 mg at night. I started with a lower dose but had to increase to get to where I want to be."

Glycopyrrolate for COPD, Maintenance "In stage 4 for COPD according to tests and other diagnoses. Lonhala Magnair works well, especially in the first 6-8 months. Effect seems to lessen over time, however, concerning what else is available at this time, and when combined with Brovana, it's probably the best of its kind (long-lasting) you can get. All that said... both meds are ridiculously freaking expensive. I was on a low-income subsidy and was able to afford meds, but my wife, due to circumstances beyond our control, went into AS. Medicare with United Healthcare, so I'm going to lose my LIS, and now, due to exceeding the threshold, I will not be able to continue the combination treatment. Frankly, the actions, rules, and guidelines of AS Medicare have signed my death warrant. I'd sure like to talk to someone in authority about this asinine situation."

Glycopyrrolate for Excessive Salivation "My daughter took Cuvposa, and she had vomiting, a very runny nose, cough, and congestion the same day she took it, so I stopped it after 2 days. I waited 2-3 weeks and tried to start it again, and the same thing happened: a very runny nose, and she cannot clean or wipe her own nose, so it very easily can go into her mouth. I stopped giving it to her a 2nd time, don't think I'll give it to her anymore."

Glycopyrrolate for Excessive Salivation "Have started this today three times a day, 2 mg per dose. And it does work. After being depressed from everywhere. On the first day, it has reduced my hypersalivation. Will continue it at least for a week further. Hope for the best. (For hypersalivation)"

"I have been taking glycopyrrolate for excessive sweating for about a week and a half, and the difference it has made is incredible. I was amazed at how fast it started working - a couple of hours after my first dose! The dry mouth and drowsiness hit me hard after the first dose (I took 2 x 2mg capsules). So since then I’ve just been taking one a day, and today I increased to one in the AM and one at noon, and I think it’s the perfect dose. My confidence has increased, I am more comfortable in my own body and in all social situations. This has improved my quality of life in a huge way. My feet did swell quite a bit the first few days, which was concerning, but that seems to have subsided. I am so, so thankful I finally found this!"

Glycopyrrolate for Excessive Salivation "Today I consulted my doctor with my salivary glands ultrasound to ask why my hypersalivation. Report is normal. My doctor suggested that it is only oversecretion of salivary glands. He advised glycopyrrolate 2 mg twice a day and not to worry. Pathologically, nothing is wrong. He suggested medicine for one month. Twice a day."
