For Hot Flashes "I reluctantly started taking Veozah after hearing the possible side effects it can cause. So now, I am writing this review about the effects of insomnia that I'm experiencing. Although I do have fewer hot flashes, I either have sleep! I am going to stop taking this medication before another unwanted side effect pops up."

For Hot Flashes "Going into perimenopause, I was put on low-dose birth control. A month later, I had a blood clot in my leg. So hormones were not an option for me. When I saw a commercial for Veozah, I knew I had to try it. One year later, my life is completely different. The multiple hot flashes that interrupted my sleep with soaked sheets are gone. Occasionally, I get a short 'flush' in the middle of the night, but it isn't nearly as disruptive. Now that I can sleep, my life is so much better. I had to go for a month without my prescription due to my insurance company suddenly deciding to decline my coverage (would they do that if this was a male problem?). In a few days, the hot flashes came back! I was a true experimental design. Veozah works. I read reviews of folks having side effects. I am a really healthy person, I work out and eat well. I have had zero side effects, and as I said, because I now get a good night's sleep, I have more energy during the day. Thank you, Veozah!"

For Hot Flashes "I must take an aromatase inhibitor cancer medication for years, and one of its side effects is hot flashes and night sweats. Unfortunately, I was already experiencing hot flashes and night sweats, so it's just made them even worse. The oncologist prescribed Veozah. Hot flashes and night sweats all but disappeared in a few days. I occasionally still get hot flashes or night sweats, which are much milder. The manufacturer, however, isn't willing to help with the high cost of this new drug unless you have private insurance or no insurance. If you have Medicare, as I do, and as do most elderly or handicapped people, Astellas, the manufacturer, will not help you. This seems ageist, discriminatory toward the elderly and disabled, and misogynistic because primarily women would be taking this drug."

For Hot Flashes "I've been taking Veozah for a month now, and I'm having just as many hot flashes as before. The only difference is that they are sometimes not as intense. I'm so disappointed. I changed to a more expensive Medicare drug plan that covers Veozah and still had to pay $541 for one month. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money for me."

For Hot Flashes "Starting taking it about five months ago. I live in Geneva, Switzerland, and the medication is affordable. First night, night sweats disappeared. Hot flashes as well. I have been suffering with several flashes and night sweats for thirty years. It was a miracle. Month five, night sweats are back, and hot flashes sometimes last for hours without relief. I am in Ethiopia for two months, and the hotter clime is probably making it worse. My liver enzymes are fine. But not sure I should continue taking it if it is not longer effective."

"I had ductal breast cancer, so was put on an aromatase inhibitor--currently on tamoxifen because the other one caused me to feel 100 years old. Was controlling hot flashes with 2 gabapentin three times a day, but when Veozah came out, my doctor recommended I give it a try. Worked great for a year. Now hot flashes are back. I've asked my doctor for a suggestion because I am ready to just stop the tamoxifen for a while to see if restarting everything helps. I have a year left on tamoxifen, but hot flashes have cursed me for 30+ years, and I am ready to just stop everything and get my life back. On Medicare with Part D, and Veozah still costs an arm and a leg, which is infuriating."
