For Birth Control "I never leave reviews, but I researched this a ton before going on it. There is more negative than positive, which scared me. This is the first form of BC I've been on, so I did not want any crazy side effects. I kept a log of weight, moods, nausea, etc. each day, and there is barely anything to report. A little nausea at first, but nothing an afternoon ginger ale couldn't fix. My periods were already short and light, and now they are even better. I've always had light breakouts before my period, and I still somewhat do. It's easier for people to write about bad experiences vs. good, so I just wanted to include some positivity for anyone thinking about trying it."

For Birth Control "I have never been on birth control and was always kind of opposed to it, given the horror stories of side effects I had heard of. However, my gyno talked me into trying Taytulla. I was so nervous to try it, especially after reading some of these reviews, but honestly, I am so glad I did. I just finished the first month, and so far the only side effect I've noticed is an increase in appetite. That's it! No nausea, mood changes, headaches, or anything like that. There was one day with some random, very minimal spotting. Right now I'm on my first period since starting Taytulla, and it is drastically a lighter flow, which is really nice. Another perk I've noticed is clearer skin. It has only been one month, so I really hope things continue this way and no worse side effects present themselves. Based on my experience so far, I would definitely recommend it, but it seems it's different for everyone."

For Birth Control "Update: I previously wrote a review for Taytulla that I thought was befitting at the time. So fast forward, I’m 6 months in and I swear I’m starting to have nausea, vomiting, headaches, mood swings, no sex drive whatsoever, and I’ve gained 17 pounds. Now the funny thing about the weight gain is that I follow a strict diet, work out 4 times a week, and walk on average 12 miles a day on my job. I constantly feel bloated, and I’m not doing anything different than I was when I first started them. My doctor said it’s water weight and retention, but carrying around the extra weight is making me feel bad physically, as well as being a mental challenge when I feel like I’m working out and watching what I eat is all in vain. Just know that these symptoms can hit you at any time."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this birth control for almost a year now, and this has been the only one to work for me without any spotting or nausea, etc. I love the gel capsules, they do not make me sick at all. I suffer from migraines but haven't had many since being on this pill. My acne has gone away, and I have picked up a little weight gain that was much needed, as I was only 107 lbs. My breasts have increased a size and a half, and I love that too. As with any birth control, some is not for anyone. If it doesn't work for you, that doesn't mean it's a poor product. Everyone's body is different and will react to medications differently. For me, this was the only birth control that worked for me, and I love it."

For Birth Control "This was my first time on birth control. My first 3 months, I had this horrible nausea that caused me to stop eating. I adjusted the time I was taking the pill to see if that would do anything. Instead of taking it in the afternoon, I started taking it at night before I went to bed. This helped dramatically, except when I started a new pack. The first week during sometime in the week, I got this horrible nausea that caused me to not be able to eat or go to school. It also caused my stomach to be very sensitive for the rest of the day. Regardless, I continued to take it, and these last 3 months have been the worst of my life. School has been very stressful, and the pill has only made things worse. I have never in my life had bad anxiety or depression. I’m a very positive person, but school along with this pill has caused extreme anxiety and depressive episodes for me. For the first time in my life, I had mental breakdowns wherever I went, cried myself to sleep at night, and had really dark thoughts."

For Birth Control "Taytulla is my first birth control pill that I’ve used. The first day I took it, I became VERY nauseated. The first two weeks were fine, my skin got a little better, not a lot of side effects. But then I started randomly bleeding, and it kept getting heavier and heavier. I have now been heavily bleeding for 5 days straight and there’s no sign that it’s going to stop. The cramps that go along with it have been terrible and stopped me from being able to keep up with my usual gym routine. This pill also has made me cry nearly every day this week, and I’m not usually an emotional person like that. This is possibly one of the worst decisions I have made to take it, and if I could give 0 stars, I would. Absolutely awful side effects!"

For Birth Control "This pill is awful! Wish I would have read these reviews before starting. THIS IS ALL TRUE-- depression, anxiety, headaches, nightmares, nausea, weight gain, sore breasts, tired all the time. I've only been on it 3 days (just threw away the pack) and very in touch with my body. I knew immediately that this was the cause of all these negative symptoms. I will NEVER ingest this pill again!"

For Birth Control "DON'T TAKE THIS BIRTH CONTROL!! I started taking Taytulla about one month ago. About a week in, all the symptoms and side effects started to show up. I was extremely nauseous, my depression and anxiety went through the roof and made me feel absolutely terrible. I was having crying episodes and felt anxious about life and relationships. I also have been bleeding for 8+ days with really bad abdominal cramps. I just recently stopped taking it yesterday. My anxiety and depression are still present, my gyno said it could take a month for my hormones to regulate. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE."

For Birth Control "I am a first-time birth control user, and I wanted a more natural pill. I have been taking Taytulla for almost a year now. The only symptoms I noticed after I first started were occasional nausea, headaches, and random spotting. Now I don't notice any side symptoms, and I don't have a period unless I don't take Taytulla for a week. Even after missing a week, I didn't experience any side effects again. Just that my painful period came back. I'm not entirely sure that this birth control doesn't affect my emotions/moods because I have had a life-changing year. All in all, I love not having painful cramps or periods anymore and feel safe."

For Birth Control "I’ve spent so much money on pregnancy tests because this birth control makes me feel pregnant, weight gain, boobs getting bigger, nauseous, body cramps, migraines, and I have very light bleeding for only a few days a month. It scares me!"

For Birth Control "I've been taking this birth control for a couple of months, and it has been an emotional rollercoaster. Shortness of breath, nausea, weight gain, horrible menstrual cramps, periods in between periods. It's been awful. I would not recommend this pill to anyone."

For Birth Control "This is the worst birth control I have ever used. I used Taytulla for 5 months. At first, my skin cleared up, my periods were light, and my hormones were under control. Then I had migraines, constant headaches, nausea, and my hormones changed. I had really dark thoughts, depression, anxiety, and severe mood swings. Sex drive went way down. Then really painful sex. I did research on Taytulla and saw similar experiences. After 5 months of taking it, I stopped, and my symptoms improved days after stopping. Except painful sex. I went to my OB/GYN and was diagnosed with lichen sclerosus. This is an autoimmune disease that can be triggered later in life and can be triggered by high levels of hormones. There is no cure and only treatments that can be used to help reduce the pain while having sex. DO NOT USE Taytulla. Get your partner to use condoms. Women shouldn’t deal with this. My husband now wears condoms, and I will never use birth control ever again in my life."

For Birth Control "I just finished my fourth pack. I am pleased with the product, and like most, was nervous because of the reviews. The first month was mood swing after mood swing and some nausea, but after that hump I’ve been smooth sailing. I have bleeding for 2-3 days, which is nice compared to the long 7 days without it and the normal period before and during symptoms. The only thing that hurts is the price. My insurance covers about 75%, so it’s still pretty expensive. I have had no weight gain or crazy acne. I will take this pill as long as I can afford it."

For Birth Control "I started taking Taytulla 2 weeks ago to help prevent more ovarian cysts from popping up. There is not one thing I've liked about this pill. I get terrible headaches and nausea almost constantly, I've broken out in acne all over my face. I have been suffering with terrible depression, anxiety, lack of interest in anything, and fatigue. I forgot to take it one night, and the next morning I woke up with super heavy bleeding. I know the body will react when starting any new medicine, but this is miserable. Would not recommend, ladies!"

For Birth Control "So, I started Taytulla, and at first I was skeptical. I was so scared from the reviews, but I have to say (even though I've been on it for a little over a week) that this pill has so far been pretty good. I do have some stomach pain at certain times that is a little weird, but I can handle that. I do not really have nausea, and my anxiety has actually been better, I also sleep better. However, I must say, and this is in no way a bad thing, my sex drive has been through the roof. But I have also noticed that I have been hungrier. Food tastes even better than usual, but I can control myself with that. I have a little bit of a headache sometimes, but not very often, and they aren't bad headaches either. So far, I really like this birth control! I would definitely recommend!"

For Birth Control "Although Taytulla worked in preventing pregnancy, I've been miserable the past two months. Starting with nausea and sharp pains in my stomach, exhaustion, and no appetite, to wanting to eat everything in sight. Then, missing my period for the second round of pills and feeling a false sense of pregnancy, so took two tests, both negative. I don't recommend this pill to anyone with anxiety or depression. Feelings of sickness heightened both."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Taytulla for 4 months now, and from day one it has been great for me. I never had any nausea, but I did notice that I was a little more emotional than usual during the first week or two that I started taking it, but after that everything was perfectly fine. My breasts did increase in size, and my period got much lighter to where I would only spot for one day. Now, I do not have a period at all, which I love. In my opinion, this is a great birth control, and I've recommended it to multiple people who ended up loving it as well. It is all based on your body and how it reacts with the medication. I'm thankful it worked out great for me!"

For Birth Control "I switched to Taytulla birth control at the end of December. I had always had my period on time. I took it for a month and was very nauseous and crampy the entire time. It got rid of my period completely and made me very paranoid. I also blacked out one morning because my blood pressure dropped from this pill. I do not recommend."

For Birth Control "This is the only BC I’ve ever been on, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but overall I’ve had a great experience! I used to have unbearably painful cramps and a super heavy flow when I got my periods, and Taytulla has completely eliminated that for me. It’ll make me a bit nauseous for a day or two, but it’s honestly a fair trade-off considering how terrible my periods were. I only get one for like 1-2 days now, and my acne has also cleared up. I’m a runner and have had my fastest season to date while on this BC, so yes. It’s been good."

For Birth Control "After years of Mirena, I switched to this pill. I had been on the pill when I was younger and had mild side effects initially, but this pill is the worst. I've been taking it for almost 2 months and have missed 3 days of work from being so sick. I've actually lost weight from the constant nauseousness and occasional vomiting. Also, headaches, boobs hurt, mood swings, no energy, little sex drive. I finally called my doctor and we're switching to another pill. Based on other reviews, it sounds like my experience is not uncommon. My boyfriend finally convinced me to get off this pill and said he just wants his girlfriend back."

For Birth Control "This medication changed me inside and out. I experienced nausea, bleeding, acne, anxiety, depression, irritability, loss of focus, and felt like I was losing it. The chemical hormonal imbalance changed my demeanor completely. I began to have panic attacks and called my doctor. I had a consult, and the prescription was changed right away. I would not recommend this drug to anyone due to the side effects that I personally experienced, as I would not want another to endure the same. One month was enough, I began to mellow out but decided against staying on it due to the severity of the side effects. It took another two weeks to feel normal again."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed Taytulla by my doctor to see if it would help with my seizures (which are hormone-based). I took this pill for two weeks and a day. I had a seizure, nausea and vomiting, bloatedness, horrible anxiety, and blurred vision. I still am suffering from the anxiety and blurred vision, but I know it will take time for this to get out of my system. I felt crazy on this pill. Never again will I take something like Taytulla."

For Birth Control "The first two months on Taytulla were smooth sailing. I already suffer from anxiety, so it was fairly normal to feel anxious and anxiety. I started my third pack and I have been nauseous and throwing up every single day for the last two weeks. I’ve dropped 15 pounds and am unable to hold anything down for the first three hours in the morning. This sent me to the ER due to dehydration and lack of appetite. I have discontinued Taytulla and am working with my doctor in finding a BC that works for me."

For Birth Control "I didn’t experience one good thing with this medicine. I have never had a problem with acne until I started this pill. It was uncontrollable. I gained 11 pounds in 3 months, even with being extra cautious with what I was eating. I slowly started slipping into depression and having really bad anxiety attacks. I was extremely nauseated at the beginning. My heart rate was always extremely fast. I cried ALL the time. There is not a single good thing about this pill!"
