For Birth Control "Horrible. Do not recommend. At all. Save yourself. Just started month 3, and it has been AWFUL. So glad I found this. I've had about every side effect but abnormal bleeding. Haven't been able to have sex for over a month because of vaginal dryness/inability to get wet/loss of interest (just ended month 2 yesterday). Sex was great until this pill! My side effects: major vaginal dryness (going on 3 months), no sex drive/interest/pleasure, breast tenderness/PAIN/enlargement, nausea, headache, bloating, fetal-position cramps, mental changes/mood swings, trouble concentrating, tired/weak ALL of the time, irritable, anxious, discouraged. I could go on. I was starting to question myself, my body, my mind, my relationship, felt like I just could NOT get better. I'm disappointed it took me so long to realize this was the only change. Good thing is I'm not pregnant, but hard to get pregnant when you can't have sex."

For Birth Control "I do not recommend this birth control at all. I was only able to take it for 6 days, and I'd felt some changes leading up to the last day I took it. Nausea, bad headaches, eye aches, extreme moodiness, heart palpitations, dizziness, crying for no reason. I woke up in a bad mood, and by the 6th day, I had had enough. I switched back to my old birth control (I took Junel only because I had a zero co-pay prescription), and I will gladly pay 30 dollars for it over this. Every side effect was gone the day after I stopped taking it."

For Birth Control "This is my 5th month being on Junel Fe. At first, I got nausea, and my doctor told me to take it at night with a snack, which helped a lot. Not getting nausea anymore. My periods are so much lighter, but sometimes longer. I had no other side effects from this medication. Everyone's body reacts differently to meds, so do not listen to others until you try it. I am going to continue taking it, and hopefully, it will help me get through perimenopause because my periods were awful before taking this. I couldn't walk without blood pouring out of me. I recommend this pill."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Junel Fe 24 for about a month. I have experienced nausea, breast tenderness, an increase in appetite, weight gain, and a slow decline in my sex drive. I am unsure when the side effects will pass. I am trying to wait to see when it will pass. It is starting to draw some concerns. I am strongly considering trying another brand."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control after I suddenly stopped getting my period. I had almost no side effects for the first couple of months and had a period every month, which was great. At the beginning of month 3, I broke out so bad to the point where I went to the dermatologist to get acne prescriptions to help improve my skin. Around the middle of month 4, I started getting really bad mood swings, anxiety, and depression, and would get an extremely bad migraine and chills the first day of placebo pills. The next month, my mood improved, but then I started getting headaches throughout the month and also really sore breasts, and also increased appetite. In the sixth month, I still had the headaches, my appetite decreased, the breast tenderness went away, and I started getting really bad cramps and mild nausea. I got tired of the unpredictable side effects and changed my prescription, so hopefully I won’t have the same experience!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this medicine for 6 weeks and switched from Lo Loestrin FE due to continuous bleeding every other week. This medicine was great, and I had no side effects or bleeding until 3 weeks in. I have started to get nauseous when eating once a week, which was fine because I figured it was just a side effect of the pill. This week, I actually had to leave work early and be rushed to urgent care because I was so nauseous, lightheaded, and pale for hours. We thought I had the flu, but the next day I was fine other than some cramps and spotting, which leads me to believe it was side effects of this medicine."

For Birth Control "This - Junel Fe 24 - is my first birth control pill I've taken in my life. I began my pill on the Sunday which was the 5th day of my period. The first week was fine except for nausea and a small breakout on my forehead. Everything was just peachy until the second week of taking these pills, I began having brown breakthrough bleeding ever since, and it has not stopped! It's annoying having to constantly wear and buy panty liners. Hopefully, my body adjusts in time and the bleeding goes away."

For Birth Control "I've been on Junel Fe 24 for almost a year now, and it has been WAY better than the patch I was on before. I swapped because of crippling nausea. I use it for birth control, but it really helps my periods too. Sometimes I don't even get a period, and when I do, it's short and light (usually). I have around the same amount of acne that I usually do, no nausea. The main problem I'm having is low sex drive. I'm almost never in the mood, and when I am, nothing is satisfying. Going to see about switching to a different brand in a few weeks. Cigna completely covers it for me."

For Birth Control "DON'T DO IT! Please refrain from using this. I’ve only been on it for 5 days, and I have symptoms of extreme nausea, and the WORST headaches."
