For Psoriatic Arthritis "I was on it for 15 years. It changed my life. I have psoriasis really bad. Thanks to Enbrel, no more psoriasis on my head, in my ears, legs, toenails, fingernails, etc. I also switched to Cetaphil to wash myself and Tide Free to wash my clothes. Completely symptom-free! Years later, I developed psoriatic arthritis as that’s very common once you have the psoriasis marker. Enbrel helped that as well. Now I have a new job and new insurance. They made me try Humira. It’s been extremely difficult for me and I’m having my worst-ever flare-up. I’m so sick right now. The pain is horrible! My doc is having me take steroids until I’m hopefully approved for Enbrel. I also have burning as a symptom. I feel like I’m on fire. The insurance companies care about money, not our health, unfortunately."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I was put on Enbrel in 2007. The change it has made in the quality of my life is amazing. I prefer the mix-it-yourself 25 mg vials because they don't have preservatives like the pre-filled syringes, which cause the horrible burning sensation. These also have tiny thin needles, which make the shot almost pain-free. I haven't had psoriasis since about 2008, and my rheumatoid arthritis has slowed in progression considerably."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "Enbrel worked wonderfully, controlling my moderately severe psoriasis, clearing it up completely. My swollen and painful hands from psoriatic arthritis quickly had no more swelling, no more pain, and the joint damage was slowed to next to nothing. The injections can burn sometimes, but the pain was worth it. I had insurance to cover it for a year and a half. It is VERY expensive at almost $500 per shot. I needed one shot per week, sometimes two. Now, I have no insurance, and my Enbrel will be running out. I am so worried about the future. Without Enbrel, my life will be painful, and the joint damage will quickly progress, as well as severe psoriasis again!"

For Plaque Psoriasis "I have suffered several forms of psoriasis for about 40 years. I have recently started biologicals, as a last resort. I was on Enbrel SureClick for about 9 months. The stuff burns like hell in the legs. Enbrel did very little for me. I am now starting Humira."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "This medication caused more joint pain, I developed a red, itchy, hot, burning rash at the injection site. The brain fog was an absolute nightmare, I would forget words when saying something or the rest of my sentence completely. Enbrel and I did not get along."
