"In 1985, I was put on enalapril and felodipine (Renitec and Plendil). This brought my blood pressure under control (from 250/120 to 130/80). I have been on this dose for more than 20 years, apart from a period where the doctor decided to see if I still needed medication at all-when my blood pressure went through the roof again. I still give blood every 3 months, and my blood pressure is taken each time and is 'excellent' for my age. The only side effect is that I pee a lot in the mornings."
