For Migraine "While this does stop my migraine, after I started taking Relpax, almost immediately I started having daily migraines. For over a year, I had a migraine every single day and would have to take another Relpax. A friend told me to stop taking them because they were causing rebound headaches. I switched to another medication and only used very little of it along with a hydrocodone to wean off the Relpax. Long story short, I haven't had a migraine since I stopped the Relpax."

For Migraine "I've been taking Relpax since 2009. It has always taken away the migraine headache within about an hour of taking 40 mg. For that, I'm grateful. What I've noticed is that when I take it makes a big difference. If I take it at the first sign of a migraine, I always get a rebound headache the next day. I find that if I wait 12 hours, then take Relpax, the migraine goes away and doesn't rebound. If it ever does rebound, I have to just tough it out. I need to rest a lot after taking it or I'll get a rebound. And I have to take it with food. The one time I didn't, it gave me horrible nausea."

For Migraine "I experienced weather-related migraines the past couple of years. My doctor and pharmacist commented on this increase in our area. Previously, I had stress-related migraines (i.e., 30-day migraine starting a new job in 1977). Several years in my mid-40s, I was headache-free. The past few years, I started Tylenol 3 to counter migraines and found the side effects of nausea and rebound headaches made me prefer to suffer rather than take a T3. This spring, my doctor gave me a sample of Relpax. I was thrilled; it worked so effectively. But unfortunately, I now need Relpax daily! I wake up, and with movement in the morning comes the throbbing migraine almost instantly. My pharmacist says it is not a rebound headache. But it no longer is just weather-caused."

For Migraine "I've had migraines for the last 10 years. Relpax is the 2nd prescription I've tried. Two hours after the 1st dose, my migraine was no longer in the usual cluster location, my entire brain was ready to explode. As directed, I took the 2nd dose. After 8 hours, I finally felt better in that I could function again. 24 hours later, I'm still 'foggy,' sleepy, and have had several rebound headaches. I will not take this drug again."
