"I was tested positive for chlamydia for the second time. The first time I had one dosage of Azithromycin which cleared everything right up. A year later I tested positive again and was prescribed doxy for one week. The meds made me so sick I had no appetite. I felt so weak had heavy breathing By the third day I didn’t feel like myself at all. The symptoms actually got worse before they got better. The only reason I finished is b/c I am desperate to get rid of this STD. Literally my worse nightmare happened all over again. I finished the meds and still have minor symptoms. I was also diagnosed with BV so idk if the symptoms are from chlamydia or BV. I have a doctors apt soon if I still have chlamydia I will be requesting something other than doxy."

"So, I went to the doctor and got tested for Chlamydia, was also prescribed doxycycline, the side effects were absolutely terrible for me, I had chlamydia in the past and took two sets of two different antibiotics since I cannot take azithromycin. Those two sets of medications effects were nothing compared to this antibiotic. Luckily the doctors called me back and said my test was negative so I stopped taking the medication but now I am getting strong urges to pee and nothing is coming out? Now I am worried I do have chlamydia it was a false negative but it is very rare to get a false negative for a Chlamydia test. So I am not quite sure what is up."

"Day 2 of the doxycycline, I forgot my dose last night but today I took it this morning and plan on taking it tonight, no side effects for me so far! In fact my anxiety has actually lifted a ton since this medication! I already have my next re test scheduled hoping everything clears up!"

"I have been taking this medication doxy for three days no side effects expect minor loss of appetite but I still make myself eat a little something. Since taking the antibiotics my discharge has gone away and I hope by 7 I am free from this nightmare. Both my partner and I are taking these antibiotics and I will be using condoms from now on."

"Got diagnosed with chlamydia (asymptomatic) after screening for STDs before doing anything with a new girlfriend; just took the 7th pill out of the 14 pill course, always sticking to the proper 12 hour intervals (always at 8:15 am and pm) right after a full meal and with a large glass of water (8oz). So far I haven't felt any side effects and I'm hoping that the treatment is working. I'll get tested again three weeks after the treatment is done to verify whether or not it worked."
