"I understand that medication affects everyone differently, but this has been heaven-sent for me. I joined an online contraceptive company and they prescribed me this. After reading the reviews, I was mortified to take it. I even asked them for a different brand, but they told me there’s nothing else my insurance covered. I know the miserable person I am, I am so sad and emotional all the time. My mood swings are off the rails. ANYWAY, so I have no choice, I start taking this and holy moly, I have never felt more normal. I mean I wake up, feel refreshed, and feel overall way more calm. This is my first experience with pill birth control, and I’m 25. I’ve done the shot once before and I hated it, I was legit throwing plates from my dishwasher against the wall like frisbees because I was so angry...But I just love this. I mean I don’t know if it’s like a hormonal thing for me and if it balanced it out or something, but this has worked great in my experience."

"The first year with the green packaging was amazing. The year went by as great as can be, very little nausea and pain. I order my medication through Pill Club, and this time I got a bold pink packaging. I don’t know if the ingredient in it has changed or what, but it’s been my worst living nightmare. Extreme pain that makes me not want to walk around without being in unbearable pain. Extreme nausea and back pain. Almost made me think I was pregnant, but I’m not. Thinking about getting a different prescription to get away from the pain because it’s too much and ruining my whole life."

"I started Isibloom last year and just recently finished my 3-month trial period with them. If you have a history with depression or anxiety, I would not recommend taking Isibloom. I felt like I was going crazy, and my anxiety increased dramatically. I also had insomnia and paranoia during the end of the first month and second month. Did not experience weight gain, skin stayed the same (I have hormonal acne), sex drive decreased dramatically."

"I honestly was so afraid from reading the reviews on this pill. Been on it for a month and: No vaginal sensitivity, sex drive is fine, boobs are fine, no nausea, no spotting, I have been sleepy, but I work a lot, so (?), my mood is normal, if not improved... Trust me, folks, it's not everyone. I gained 100 lbs on Junel, and if anything, I've lost weight on Isibloom. I got it through the pill club. I'm having my usual moodiness towards period time, but nothing else. Don't be too afraid. Also, don't think too much or you might cause yourself to experience non-existent symptoms!"

"I’ve been on Isibloom for about 5 months now, it was my first time ever using birth control, and since I was finally in a serious, stable relationship, I thought it was best to go on birth control, and my boyfriend agreed with me after I told him. I’ve seen many negative reviews, and that scared me a lot at first, but this medication has not given me any type of side effect that concerned me in any way! I am still full of energy, I get my period like clockwork now, which is something I haven’t been able to control since I first started getting my period, so that was a blessing! Also, I see no signs of weight gain or mood swings. The only thing I can say is I’ve been bloated sometimes, and the first week I had a little bit of nausea, but that went away very quickly. Overall, this is a good choice for birth control!"

"Isibloom gave me extreme cramping, constant vomiting, diarrhea, severe joint stiffness and pain, daily migraines. This was so not worth it! Everyone is different, so you might be one of the lucky few that don’t have any side effects, but for me, this was one of the most horrendous experiences of my life. Never again!"

"I’m 18, and after signing up for online contraception and looking into it, I was prescribed Isibloom. I started taking Isibloom on the first day of my cycle and not just a regular day. I noticed that my cycle was the same length, but it was lighter, and I experienced minimal cramps. I haven’t noticed any major side effects except my chest size going up a little bit and my emotions change like clockwork. Also, a tip: a lot of the women giving reviews are older. So if you are in a younger age group, like under 18 or 18-25, you may not experience the same side effects. The one thing I do recommend, though, is having a balanced diet because that can also cause some negative effects."

"The reviews on here are all so harsh, lol. I felt like I needed to give my experience. I’ve been on Isibloom for over a year, and I’ve had no issues. When I first started, I was so worried about how my body would react based on other experiences, but everyone is different. I’ve had no problems, I often take it continuously to skip my period and have no problems. I really like it, sometimes if I take it continuously for a while, my breasts will get sore, and I might be a little moody. But then I take the placebo and have my period, and I feel fine after that. This really works for my body. You never know how you will react."

"Isibloom is the first birth control brand that I have been on, and all I can say is that it has done me wonders. I have severe acne, and I was really hoping that it could clear up my skin, and it did! After my third month on the pill, my skin was finally healing, and I couldn't be any happier. It has also shortened my period, lessened my cramps, and reduced my flow. On top of all that, I gained no weight whatsoever. If anything, I lost ten pounds, and it has not caused me to become depressed or sad in any way. Isibloom really works for me!"

"I felt like I needed to post my positive experience on Isibloom since there are so many bad reviews on here!!! I was kind of terrified to start it after seeing the reviews, however, it’s been the best BC I’ve been on so far. I was a little nauseous the first pack I took, but not horrible. My skin is great, my mood is fine, sex drive didn’t change, and I don’t have any spotting or breakthrough bleeding (which I always have on other BC), also, it’s quite affordable! Works just fine for my bod. Give Isibloom a chance."

"I’ve been on birth control for 5 months, but my doctor recently changed me to Isibloom. I’ve been on Isibloom for almost 3 months, and the first month was normal. Then the second month got worse - at first, I thought I was pregnant (also keep in mind I take my birth control at 9 AM every morning and never missed one) because my breasts hurt, I had headaches, nausea (without throwing up so far), and a couple other symptoms. Then I looked up Isibloom side effects, and it all made sense. Hopefully, next month things get better."

"Ok, so I received the Isibloom via the Pill Club, and oh my Lord, so far this is perfect. I say try it longer than two days because yes, I got nauseous, but only for two days. After that, nothing. I feel the same as before I started, and nothing bad about it. So don’t let the other reviews scare you because this will work different for everyone. GET YO BIRTH CONTROL, GIRL."

"My experience with Isibloom seems to be the opposite of everyone else. I was fine the first 3-4 months, but around month five, my mood swings began. I would be laughing one second, and the next, my boyfriend would say he wants to go get food, and I would cry because I didn’t want to get out of bed, or I was so happy he was thinking the same thing. Now we’re in about month 8, and I have diarrhea most days of the week. Three days of my week, I’m crying for nothing, or because I’m happy, but I can never tell my boyfriend why I’m upset because I simply don’t know. I’ve never felt this way, and it’s concerning to me why it happened to most women within the first month and stopped, but it’s happening to me in months 5-9, and it just keeps getting worse. I still am sexually active, and my sex drive is the same as it always has been. But I wonder what could help the mood swings stop...?"

"I started taking Isibloom about a year ago. In the beginning, I didn't mind taking this, I did not have any of the side effects, and everything was okay. These last few months, however, my libido has gone down the drain. I've seen other reviews with the same thing, it literally is so painful whenever I have sex with my partner. :( I also have been having migraines these last few months, and my cramps seem to be worse than ever. I got prescribed this from Pill Club, as I am a broke college student with no insurance. I'm trying to find a different prescription through them at the moment."

"My experience so far with Isibloom is the opposite of other users, I find it great. Three months in and I have no complaints. No periods anymore, which is a blessing since, as a hemophiliac, mine are dreadful. As a normally small-breasted woman, I also appreciate the extra cup and a half I've gained in bra size! The only thing I've noticed is an occasional increase in appetite, but so far no noticeable weight gain. No mood changes. All in all, a great experience for me so far!"

"A lot of these reviews are bad, but of course, if you have a bad experience with something, you’re going to write about it, and contradicting that, with your good experiences, you will most likely not leave a review. This birth control pill is very tiny and easy to take, and I have been on Isibloom for a month through an online pill subscription, and I have very few side effects. My age is 18, and the only side effect I’ve really only experienced is tender breasts and slight breast size improvement (maybe a cup?). Although I’ve had mood swings and I’m very emotional, getting frustrated and annoyed very easily."

"I was on Isibloom for almost a year. As long as you are within the weight guideline or BMI, it works. I took mine at night around 9 PM so I wouldn't get nauseous. The pills are super small. I didn't have insurance, I got a 3-month supply for only $15.90. They are amazing to work with."

"Isibloom is great so far. I was switched to it after having spotting the whole time I was on Nexplanon (6 months). Irritating! But things definitely lucked up the moment I got the Nexplanon out of my arm and began my first pack of Isibloom. Because I was due for my period when I had Nexplanon out of my arm, I went on to have what was a two-day liner bleed. Nothing major! Especially after having spotting for 6 months. Then it was gone!! I feel happy, my face is super clear and glowy looking :) highly recommendable. I’d also advise taking a women’s vaginal ultimate floral probiotic (50-90 billion CFUs) with your birth control daily also. Just for your overall vaginal well-being!! Eat lots of yogurt as this also has good bacteria cultures for our vaginal areas!! I feel overall amazing!"

"I have been taking this pill, Isibloom, for about 9 months now. Despite all the negative comments on this medication, it has helped me with my mood swings, acne, painful periods, and painful intercourse. Everybody is different, and everyone can react differently to the pill. I will say though, missing even just one of these pills can increase your chances of pregnancy. So be careful!! I suggest using a period tracker, e.g., Clue. This has helped me see when my next period will start, how long my period will last, AND the most important thing I get from this app is you can input the days you've taken your pill. Then, if you miss a day or take your pill late, it shows you how many days you need to use backup protection during intercourse. Isibloom is an AMAZING pill, and I have barely no side effects!!"

"I started using Isibloom because I just started my sex life, and I wanted to be responsible. I received it through The Pill Club. I used to have acne. Isibloom helped with that. I’ve been using it for 5 months already. I’ve been suffering from pain in my breasts. It did not help with my cramps, I still have the same pain as before. I did not gain weight. I did not have any nauseousness. I did have diarrhea for the first 2 weeks or so. The only problem I have is that my sex drive is super low. Before taking Isibloom, I would get turned on easily. I would want to touch myself. After this product, I have painful sex! It’s horrible. My partner and I have thought maybe it will go away because, according to the prescription, side effects go away within 3 months. This month would be my 6th month, but I’ve decided to stop using it for the sake of my relationship. It’s pretty uncomfortable to have sex while it hurts."

"On month three of Isibloom, and it works! Not pregnant, and my boyfriend finishes inside most of the time. I’ll be honest, the first month was awful, the nausea was bad and headaches. But once my body got adjusted, it was fine! I do get the headaches a tad bit, but would rather have that than worry about an unexpected pregnancy. It works! I would say to try it for three months before switching."

"The first three months of this pill were not that bad, although I did begin to experience abnormal anxiety (for me) and mood swings. I also began to experience some heart palpitations (which I had chalked up to the anxiety). I am in month 5 now, and I'm beyond done. This BC has made me more moody than I ever have been. I get angry and irritated and snap at things or people, and I am usually a very genial and happy person. This has made me feel like an entirely different person. I have experienced awful anxiety as well, like panic attacks waking me up at night. Also, extremely vivid dreaming that causes me to feel like I'm not sleeping, which I am sure has perpetuated my other symptoms. Everyone's body is different, but my experience has been terrible."

"Literally, the worst pill I have ever taken. I switched from the last pill I was taking because of extreme depression, but I would honestly rather have extreme depression and cry at all hours of the day than take this. The first three months I thought it was great. Then, slowly but surely, I began to get so irritated. Now I cannot stop lashing out at everyone and everything, when I have never been this type of person. I literally feel nothing at times if I'm not feeling angry, and that is downright scary. I feel like a zombie sometimes. I have no care in the world and am an angry, sad person. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and continued with the pill for three more months, but it literally has just gotten worse, and now I feel like I'm losing my mind. Please don't take this. You will have no motivation or joy."

"I have no complaints with this birth control pill Isibloom so far. I tend to be pretty sensitive to medications, but the only symptom I’ve experienced was slightly heightened anxiety for the first week or so. Once I pushed through that, everything went back to normal. My period has also been super light, which is exactly what I wanted since I usually have extremely heavy periods. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you away. This is a pretty good birth control and it’s super affordable."

"I started taking Cyred a year ago for acne, then it got switched to Isibloom by my pharmacist, and I did not notice any change in symptoms on Isibloom. I had very bad acne for 10 years, and this completely cleared my skin. However, my breasts are so tender, I have cramping throughout the month (sometimes it’s continuous, and sometimes it will be a random moment of intense cramping, and then it will stop), and spotting can sometimes occur for weeks at a time, which is extremely frustrating. I also have noticed that I am not interested in sex at all. Not even interested in kissing my partner. For these reasons, I am switching to a different birth control, but if that has the same side effects, I will return to using this one because the clear skin ultimately outweighs the negative side effects for me."
