For Birth Control "Should be illegal! Constant bleeding, extreme bloating (look 6 months pregnant), severe mood swings from angry to hysterical, uncontrollably sobbing for days, severe depression, breakthrough bleeding almost the entire cycle, insomnia for days, anxiety and panic attacks, swelling, massive weight gain (8 lbs) despite eating 1,200 calories and biking every day, horrible fatigue! For Birth Control "I have been taking Enskyce for about 3 years now, and it was all good at first. Lighter, shorter periods, my cramps lightened up, and I had no more headaches until the beginning of this year (Jan 2019). At first, my periods became so light that I would only need a pad for about 3 days, then the period was gone. But now, all of a sudden, my periods have become extremely heavy. Now, I have to wear a tampon and a pad, and I’m changing it out about every 45 minutes. It lasts about 3 or 4 days, and then it’s back to spotting. I spotted for two weeks after my period was over. It is now about to be August, and I’m still bleeding heavily. I’m not sure what’s going on or if the pill isn’t working anymore, but I am looking to get on a different medication."

For Birth Control "My Dr. told me Enskyce would clear up my acne, and I would have no bleeding because she highly suggested skipping the placebo week. HOWEVER, about 2 and 1/2 into taking Enskyce, I noticed bleeding outside of my period time. Apparently, it was spotting from withdrawal bleeding (something my Dr. failed to mention to me), and when I looked it up, it seemed normal for women starting a new birth control, so I thought nothing of it. It wasn’t until the bleeding became heavy and constant that I began to worry. It’s been 13 days, and the little “spotting” is now a heavy flow of blood. My normal periods have NEVER been this bad. What sucks even worse is the cramps that accompany this constant bleed. The pain has woken me up at night, interfered with my job, and overall just made doing anything difficult because it’s crippling. To top it all off, this med has given me intense headaches every evening, hot flashes, and zero improvement on my acne. I would absolutely not recommend Enskyce to anyone."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Enskyce birth control pill for a little over a month, and it has been horrible so far. It has given me side effects so that I am anxious and sensitive to pretty much everything. My boyfriend could say “stop” to me, and I would start crying. I’m skipping the placebo pills, and yet I’m still bleeding (not nearly as much, however) AND cramping. I feel nauseous, and my boobs hurt tremendously. It pretty much feels like I’m constantly on my period (minus the bleeding). I’ve been bloated, constipated, with horrible stomach cramps. I’ve had headaches. I haven’t noticed much weight gain, but mind you I’ve only been on this a month. Apparently, symptoms are supposed to improve in a few months, but that’s ridiculous. I haven’t gotten pregnant, so that’s the only advantage to this pill. I would not recommend this brand to anybody."

For Birth Control "Enskyce contraceptive pill sucks. I've been on it for a week, and my period usually only lasts 3 days, but I've been bleeding since I first took it. I'm extremely moody and get irritated at everything! I feel nauseated and have intermittent cramps, which also never happens. I'm switching to a different brand this coming week. I hope the bleeding stops."

For Birth Control "Literally do not ever take this pill. I’ve been on the pill for 3-4 years. I’m not sure what I was prescribed, but everything was beautiful. Light periods. No cramping. No mood swings. Nothing. Then randomly, 2 years ago, they switched me to Enskyce and told me, “same pill, different packaging.” A month in, and I haven’t stopped bleeding for 2 years. I get 3 days of bliss off my period (mind you, I still spot during this time) and then boom. Blood clots. UNBEARABLE cramps. Migraines. Sore muscles and bones. Hot flashes. My feet tend to get very cold and numb. I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks. I even had to go see a doctor because my parents thought I had an eating disorder. I thought that something was wrong with me, but now, reading these other reviews, I realize the pill is the problem. Please, for the love of God, do not take this pill ever. The only thing that’s good is I never got pregnant."

For Birth Control "I have been on Enskyce for 10 months now. I like it. I do not get headaches, and my period is way shorter and lighter than it was, not having to sleep on a towel anymore, thank goodness. Other than that, no weight gain, headaches, or breakouts, and less cramping. I had one month where my period lasted two weeks, but I spoke to my doctor, and she told me it was breakthrough bleeding and to just keep taking the pill normally, and it hasn't happened again. Overall, happy with Enskyce."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this BC for almost 3 months now, and let me tell you, this is terrible. I have had constant breakthrough bleeding for over a month now and so much acne. The only plus side I got from taking this pill is that I’m not gaining weight and no pregnancy."

For Birth Control "This is the worst! I have taken Desogen and Apri, but switched to Enskyce a few months ago when it was cheaper and it was supposed to be the same. But Enskyce has made me bloated, retain water (take diuretics for this), and I had breakthrough bleeding at all different times of the month. Can't wait to finish off these last packs and switch to something I like again, even if it costs more. Don't get Enskyce!"

"It’s a shame that Enskyce was my first experience with birth control. It is terrible. I had horrible mood swings and was really depressed. My period was heavier and my cramps were unbearable (worse than when I was off birth control). I also experienced breakthrough bleeding in my 4th month of the pill. The only positive was no weight gain. Do not take this pill for your own sake!!!"

For Birth Control "I have been on Enskyce for 6 months. Before Enskyce, I was on Azurette, which is the same hormone combo but a little lower on the estrogen. I switched to the higher estrogen pill, Enskyce, because I kept spotting terribly on Azurette. The spotting did get better on Enskyce, although it took months. So far, Enskyce is the best birth control I have ever been on - others I have tried have been Ortho Tricyclen Lo (neither good nor bad, but didn't help my heavy period at all), Norethindrone minipill (awful, terrible side effects, constant heavy bleeding), and Azurette, as I stated earlier. So far, Enskyce is the clear winner. I did have emotional side effects for the first month, however - I was really cranky and over-sensitive. Just really impatient and easily annoyed. I became a real jerk, and it was very out of character for me. It went away after a month. My period is significantly lightened by Enskyce, which was my goal in taking BC as my natural period is horrendously heavy."
