Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Like others here using Bellafill has been a horrible experience! I had it injected 2 years ago and after a year, I began noticing bumps and lumps at injection sites. The Beauty Therapy place where I had it injected has closed down, but I did track down the injector and went to see her. She did absolutely nothing to help! In fact, she didn’t even want to admit it was from the Bellafill! She tried to make it seem like it was my fault it happened! I consulted the Bellafill company who would not do anything either! Stay clear of this poison. My lumps have gotten worse in the last year! Just a note, I did have the preliminary test. What good does this really do! Terrible product!!! Terrible company!!!! Terrible representatives!!!"

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went in to get the venus freeze done on my neck and jowls. The esthetician I saw wowed me with all the plus sides of Bellafill. I didn't find anything to contraindicate its efficacy, so I went ahead with the injections. I was told I had the best person possible doing my treatment. As it turned out, I was her guinea pig. My face was left with lumps and bumps all over. A year later I had to get immunizations to start the nursing program. The Bellafill has started to grow. I have several swollen balls all over my face. I can't get anyone to return my calls. I am really worried this is going to permanently disfigure me."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had 3 sets of injections and all of them have turned into lumps, I call marbles, in my face. They did NOT fill in lines in my face, they just became marbles in my face. They are awful and I would never recommend these injections - run, don't walk, out of the doctor's office!"

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went to a reputable doctor in this area. Used him for a couple of procedures in the past. I had no reason to doubt him until he talked me into THIS! He had his assistant do my filler, along with a Bellafill/Artefill rep. They both had it done and looked good. Still, I had no reason for concern. Yes, she did injections under my eyes. I looked like someone had hit me with a board. Lasted about two months and a lot of crying in his waiting room. He did give me my $7,000+ back, but still have these ugly lumps, and after about 10 years, I still have these hard lumps, about 1 inch long, under my eyes. Maybe for other parts of your face, BUT NOT UNDER YOUR EYES. In fact, play it safe, don't do this."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Had Bellafill done in November 2017 by a plastic surgeon in Manhattan who convinced me it was the best treatment. As of today, January 18, 2018, I still have lumps and my face is getting disproportional."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had a mid-face lift just under my eyes, which left a big scar under my right eye, so my Dr. thought Bellafill would help the scar from the surgery. I had to pay for it even though she messed up the under eye. Now I have hard knots under my eyes and lumps. I really never even needed the under eye surgery to begin with, I only wanted collagen filler when she talked me into the big money job. Bellafill is not a safe product unless you want hard knots on your face."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I received Bellafill injections in October of 2019. Around February of 2020, I noticed a lump in front of my right ear. Then a lump in front of my left ear and a few smaller lumps in my lower jaw area and along my cheekbones. I went back to the doctor who did the injections, and she used Kenalog to hopefully remove them or dissolve them. Well, the two lumps that I started out with are gone, and I'm left with atrophy of my own tissue in front of both ears, and the other lumps are still growing and spreading. I'm not happy at all, and I'm not sure what to do about it. It's been a nightmare."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I did Bellafill injections on my cheeks. Dr. was absolutely great, with a great reputation. He told me it can happen that filler turns to lumps or something similar, and the only way to remove it is surgically. I still decided to do it. But, the result was zero. I called and went to see him. He injected another one (for free) and said he cannot explain what happened. Again, nothing. I lost my money, but... my only explanation is my age. I'm 60 years old."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had Bellafill injected in my smile lines late 2014 and then in my marionette lines in June 2015. I had an unfortunate experience because I have so many bumps. After almost six years, I still have bumps. I had 5FU and Kenalog injections for three years. The bumps migrate, and occasionally a new bump appears. This is all happening in the marionette lines and near my lips. Only recently, I felt bumps in my smile lines. One bump in my left marionette line is so huge that I feel it needs to be surgically removed, but plastic surgeons I have visited don’t want to touch it. The left side oozed pus about every three months for about 1 1/2 years, creating a hole. I went to a plastic surgeon to stitch together the hole, but it did not work. During surgery, she said the skin was like cottage cheese and very difficult to work with. Now I have a scar in addition to all the bumps."

Restylane (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Due to waiting for delayed oral surgery, I developed lines around my lips and saggy jowls. My dermatologist recommended this product. It was injected in those areas over three courses to correct for lumps and leakage. I’m not happy with the deep crow's feet that are worse now than what they looked like before. Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "There is no good reason to use this filler. Had it injected 12 years ago (when it was called Artecoll) and thought I'd done enough research to feel safe with it. I didn't have very much product injected, but even a small amount is too much. 3 years ago, I started feeling lumps where the product was placed. Now the lumps are visible, itchy, and broken vessels have discolored my skin only in the areas where the filler was injected. Some of the filler has started to break off into smaller lumps. Turns out it may take years for your body to react to Bellafill. After several consultations with filler experts and plastic surgeons, I have come to the very distressing conclusion that the only resolution is surgery."

They make kissing difficult! It was the absolute worst thing that I ever did for my face, all just to get rid of a couple of wrinkles. As with all the other reviews, run, don’t walk away from the office!!!!! Do not do this to yourself… you are beautiful as is, and I am quite certain that additional lumps in your face will not add to your beauty."
