Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Like others here using Bellafill has been a horrible experience! I had it injected 2 years ago and after a year, I began noticing bumps and lumps at injection sites. The Beauty Therapy place where I had it injected has closed down, but I did track down the injector and went to see her. She did absolutely nothing to help! In fact, she didn’t even want to admit it was from the Bellafill! She tried to make it seem like it was my fault it happened! I consulted the Bellafill company who would not do anything either! Stay clear of this poison. My lumps have gotten worse in the last year! Just a note, I did have the preliminary test. What good does this really do! Terrible product!!! Terrible company!!!! Terrible representatives!!!"

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Terrible product! My cosmetology doctor didn't do a test, nor told me it was permanent. She put it deep into my cheeks on face. 2 syringes one month apart. The second injection within days left my cheeks puffy, tender to the touch & my facial nerves frazzled. Then a week later my cheeks were swollen, pus coming out of my eyes, touching cheeks made more pus come out of my eyes & made my nervous system crash! I went to the ER 7 times in 3 weeks. They said it probably was NOT the filler but stated they weren't cosmetic experts and to follow up with my doctor. I went home assuming it couldn't be the filler, not wanting to believe it was a filler that I voluntarily paid for. I became bedridden, can barely breathe feels like I'm dying."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had Bellafill injected after appropriate patch testing in my smile lines for wrinkles. The initial result was great. 15 months after injection, I developed multiple foreign body granulomas on both sides of my face as an adverse reaction to the material. This was a delayed and 'unexpected' response from the filler. For the past 2 years, all local therapy has failed to improve the inflammation. I underwent a major facial surgery and had all the material removed when the granulomas started to erode through my skin. This product may be FDA approved, but the nature of these random, permanent, and relentless disfiguring granulomatous reactions beg rethinking the use of this product by plastic surgeons. It is impossible to predict who will be disfigured from this product, and the product is permanent. It must be removed with surgery."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went for a consultation for Botox in my forehead, my elevens, and ended up being told I needed much more! I was told I needed Bellafill under my eyes. My under eyes were not a concern for me, but my so-called doctor told me I needed filler there! She was just trying to sell me something that would make her money! A test to see if I had an adverse reaction to Bellafill was to be given and I was to wait 28 days before a procedure was done, my doctor waited 10 minutes! What really ticks me off is that the sales rep for Bellafill who was present never stepped in to say no, you really need to wait before giving these injections! But unfortunately, I signed on the dotted line and today, after 7 months, I am disfigured from these Bellafill injections."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went in to get the venus freeze done on my neck and jowls. The esthetician I saw wowed me with all the plus sides of Bellafill. I didn't find anything to contraindicate its efficacy, so I went ahead with the injections. I was told I had the best person possible doing my treatment. As it turned out, I was her guinea pig. My face was left with lumps and bumps all over. A year later I had to get immunizations to start the nursing program. The Bellafill has started to grow. I have several swollen balls all over my face. I can't get anyone to return my calls. I am really worried this is going to permanently disfigure me."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went for Botox and lip filler and got talked into Bellafill. I am having an autoimmune reaction. There is uneven swelling months later, and my cheeks are red. I look like a chipmunk! My lip has a big lump. Lovely! Plus, I talk weird. I'm so unhappy and frustrated."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had 3 sets of injections and all of them have turned into lumps, I call marbles, in my face. They did NOT fill in lines in my face, they just became marbles in my face. They are awful and I would never recommend these injections - run, don't walk, out of the doctor's office!"

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I got Bellafill 7 months ago with a high-rated board-certified MD. I was completely new to fillers. Initially, it looked okay although I wasn’t completely satisfied with the results. Only one syringe was used and trust me, the most small amount of this stuff can create a big change! It looked its best 2-4 months into it, then a lump formed on the crease of my smile line, making it look way uneven to my right side. I have really bad acne and also got 2 vials on some scars around my face. I now have terrible anxiety thinking about what lies ahead in my future. These beads are not made to withstand all of our experiences as human beings and I’ve read a ton of stories of complications years down the road. If you are brand new to fillers, I highly recommend using temporary fillers only. There are not even long-term studies for Bellafill, so currently, we are the test dummies for “long-term and safe” results."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had Bellafill in 2016. It wasn’t worth the money it cost, but it did help fill out my face. Now, in 2020, I’ve developed hard nodules under my eyes and at every injection site. I just saw the doctor last week, and he doesn’t think it's the filler, but it’s in every area he put the needle in, and some nodules have moved into other areas."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I have used fillers off and on for 36 years. Collagen, Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm, Voluma, and more to fill acne scars and laser burn scars above my lip caused by a quack. I've always had at least a modicum of improvement and sometimes even success with these various fillers. However, when I finally decided, after two years of research, to go ahead and have Bellafill injected into one area of my face where there are acne scars, I wound up with absolutely no visible or palpable evidence that Bellafill was even in my face. A total rip-off. Utterly useless material. In fact, the acne scars are even more evident after this bizarre injection episode. Just because the FDA approves something doesn't mean it has any merit."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Check out the words Malar Edema. This is what Bellafill, injected into my cheeks, has left me with. They are red pouches on my cheeks, something I never had before the injections. I am so upset with this, and it cost me $9,000 to add to my total dismay! And to make it worse, make-up will NOT cover these unattractive lumpy red pouches."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "This product was injected into my face by an inexperienced doctor, encouraged by a sales rep for this deplorable product. I have severe swelling under my eyes and forehead. I've had multiple injections to rid my face of these horrible side effects to no avail. The doctor, sales rep, and producers of this hideous product take no responsibility for the horrific pain and disfigurement that I've endured! This product must be removed from the market, and I will do all I can to see this be done."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went to a reputable doctor in this area. Used him for a couple of procedures in the past. I had no reason to doubt him until he talked me into THIS! He had his assistant do my filler, along with a Bellafill/Artefill rep. They both had it done and looked good. Still, I had no reason for concern. Yes, she did injections under my eyes. I looked like someone had hit me with a board. Lasted about two months and a lot of crying in his waiting room. He did give me my $7,000+ back, but still have these ugly lumps, and after about 10 years, I still have these hard lumps, about 1 inch long, under my eyes. Maybe for other parts of your face, BUT NOT UNDER YOUR EYES. In fact, play it safe, don't do this."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Had Bellafill done in November 2017 by a plastic surgeon in Manhattan who convinced me it was the best treatment. As of today, January 18, 2018, I still have lumps and my face is getting disproportional."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Used this product, being told it would last for 5 years. It worked briefly to lift skin on sides of face to lift sagging jawline skin. However, after about 4 months, the product evidently sank to the bottom of my jawline on both sides and looked like two sandbags on either side of my face, one side more puffed out than the other. I purchased on a special for 5 vials. Have used three, not sure what I will do with the other two unused vials of this stuff. It is awful! So, what do I do for the next 4 1/2 years!?"

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I've had 6 syringes in my face for volume loss. My last injection was in January 2017. Nasolabial folds are gone, my cheeks and jawline are defined, and so far, knock on wood, no problems. By the way, I'm 64, and I had to verify that I was at least 50 to get my senior citizen discount. All doctors get the same product, you must go to a doctor who has been trained in the use of Bellafill, not an aesthetician."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Bellafill was a total ripoff. I had 4 units injected with no visible results. My doctor promised my wrinkles would be gone in the areas treated. I contacted her office numerous times with my concerns. I was extremely disappointed with the results and absolutely had no changes to my appearance. The doctor totally ignored all my calls. As a result, I contacted the manufacturer, Suneva Medical, who made numerous attempts to contact the doctor. The bottom line is none of my issues were ever resolved."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had a mid-face lift just under my eyes, which left a big scar under my right eye, so my Dr. thought Bellafill would help the scar from the surgery. I had to pay for it even though she messed up the under eye. Now I have hard knots under my eyes and lumps. I really never even needed the under eye surgery to begin with, I only wanted collagen filler when she talked me into the big money job. Bellafill is not a safe product unless you want hard knots on your face."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "Very bad experience with Bellafill. This filler is not for a person over 60, much less for people over 70, which was my case. After 5 months of getting 3 injections on the chin and cheeks, the results are zero. No difference before or after. I saw the doctor 4 weeks after the procedure, and he said to wait 6-8 more weeks. Well, I went to see him today, Dec. 20th. Unfortunately, he moved to another location. End of the story, I lost my money. Please, do not get Bellafill. Get something else. He never advised me on what fillers were good for me. All he wanted was my money."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I went to a doctor that recommended this under the eye. This product is not recommended under the eye! I have a floating lump under my eye. Nothing I can do about it. The company does not recommend under-eye use. But the doctors are doing it anyway."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "In 2013, I had Artefill that is now Bellafill. I had a mini facelift and Bellafill done at the same time! I never received a skin test, and 6 weeks later, I ended up very, very ill. I could hardly breathe or walk, and I could almost taste something coming from my chest. I had severe reactions and had no idea at that time what it was. I had autoimmune issues since then, and the doctor or the company that produced this product had done zero to help me. Now, 6 years later, my left side of my face, where the smile lines are, the product is swollen, and an outline now can be seen of the product when smiling or making certain expressions. I have been fighting this ever since and would like to start a FB group going against this filler! It has silicone and other products and toxins in it. If I drink out of plastic water bottles, I get congested right away, and I can go on. People with breast implants also have certain reactions, and if you study this product, you will find the same material is used."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I was told if I only did half of the recommended amount that I would see wonderful results. Wrong! I am so unhappy with my results, I can’t stand to look in the mirror. I feel that I look much older because of the big puffs of Bellafill under my eyes. Even on my worst day prior to the injections, I didn’t have eye puffs the way I do now. Unless you’re prepared to spend a small fortune on something that doesn’t last forever (i.e., a facelift), I wouldn’t do it. So disappointed!"

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "I had Bellafill injected into mild acne scars, and they did improve a little. About 8 months later, I thought if I had another syringe injected, maybe they would improve more or possibly go away altogether. I was so wrong! The second time, it made the scars look so much worse. I can actually see where the Bellafill is if I look closely at my skin. My skin looks terrible now. I don’t know if the doctor injected it wrong the second time or what caused this."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "You really need an expert to do these injections. I was fortunate to have a person who knew what to do. I am 70 years old and had the injections a year ago. I am thrilled with the results! It keeps getting better. I still have fine lines but not the deep wrinkles I had before."

Bellafill (dermal filler) for Facial Wrinkles "This is a TERRIBLE product, if you are thinking of getting this done, DO NOT. It is marketed as lasting 5 years, but it lasts forever, which is NOT a good thing considering what the ingredients are. Bellafill consists of bovine collagen and PMMA, which is acrylic, plexiglass being injected into your face. Your body, in an attempt to expel the foreign product, will cause nodules, granulomas, swelling, maybe even 10 years down the line, but your body will ultimately fail. Also, the product DOES migrate. I had it injected in my mid-cheek, and it has moved down near my jaw. It is a primitive product, and there are next to no treatments of removal aside from invasive surgery. The company clearly only cares about money and not the safety of people. Look at the negative experiences people have had with this, there are plenty of us with stories. BAN this product, AND STAY AWAY."
