For Anorexia "I was so excited about this pill and how it helped me gain weight, but with the weight gain came a lot of other health issues that followed. I decided I needed to let you guys know what can happen to you too. I got addicted to the pills. I was always sleeping, not concentrating, and the pills were not as effective as they were in the first few months, but I couldn’t stop taking them. It caused me to get fungus on my nails, breathing became heavy, and I was always tired and sleepy. I decided to stop taking the pills which was very hard for me, but I knew if I kept taking them I would end up getting really sick, which my body was already showing symptoms of. All the weight shed after I stopped taking the pills, but I have learned to love my body. Being tired and experiencing health complications is not worth it. If you are not prescribed these from a doctor, don’t mess with your body and your health, guys!"

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "This is simply something magical! I've been underweight naturally since childhood, always hearing 'you should eat more,' although I really had a good appetite. I can't even wear the clothes I want as I feel so bad to see my skinny legs and hands, etc. I sat at night and thought about what else I could try to put on weight, as protein milkshakes and squats didn't work for me. I googled Periactin, ordered online from Weldricks (UK), and I want to cry and scream to the world how happy I am! Using it for two weeks, 1 tablet before bedtime - gained 4kgs, never had this weight before! I eat around 3000-4000 kcals a day. It also makes me feel really sleepy and tired, but it means nothing when you see those amazing numbers on the scales."

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "All my life, I have struggled to gain or maintain my weight. There are periods when I have no appetite. I can go for days without eating and not feel hungry. This medication has been a godsend. At first, the drowsiness was almost debilitating. After reaching my desired weight, I found that reducing the dose to 1/4 tablet per day maintained it without the side effects. My son suffers from the same issue, and he is now taking it too. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to gain weight."

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "I've had problems with my weight all my life due to depression and anxiety. I would literally go days without eating. I started taking Periactin about a year ago and it worked great! I ate multiple times throughout the day. I stopped and lost all of the weight I gained. I started taking them again 2 weeks ago and I've gained over 10 pounds already. I get sleepy but it's tolerable."

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "I've always been very thin, and I disliked the way I looked in the mirror for years. Then 3 years ago, my mom introduced me to this medicine, it worked wonders for my body. It stimulated my appetite, made me sleepy, which was good since I had problems sleeping, and this medicine changed the way I looked. I was curvy and attractive. I took one pill every day or sometimes every other day, and I moved from a size 0 to a beautiful size 6, and I was very happy with myself. The sad thing is I'm in China for one year doing my postgraduate degree, and the stresses of being here have pulled my weight down to 8 kgs less than where it was when I first came here."

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "Was very underweight for my age. Started taking these to help with it and be healthier. I was 102, and I went to 158 in about 2 months. It's been almost a year, and I chose to lose some of the weight, and I'm down 8 lbs, but weight still here. I have a lot of curves now. Side effects are sleepiness, but I started cutting my pills in half, and that helped a lot. I would take half a pill every 2 hours, taking 2 pills a day, and then cut back to one whole pill a day after weight started coming on fast."

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "I have been wanting to gain weight for over ten years. I have a really hard time eating. It's like a chore for me to force myself to eat, and I get full really quickly. Everyone tells me I'm too thin all the time, and mass shakes make me want to puke because they're too sweet and thick. So I've been underweight most of my life. I searched the Internet, and about two weeks ago, I found reviews for Periactin and got really excited to try it. So I got it prescribed right away and have been on it for a week now. I've gained 10 lbs already! This is a miracle! I felt a tiny bit sleepy the first two days, but I've always felt tired from lack of nutrition, so it wasn't much of a difference. I'm so excited to keep gaining!"

For Anorexia "I started taking these pills in September to increase my appetite. I was 106 lbs in September 2014, and now in January I'm 130 lbs. I can't believe I gained 24 lbs. My ideal weight is 140 lbs. I take 3 pills a day and I eat 2300 calories a day or more. Although they make me sleepy, I fight it off and do what needs to be done throughout the day. After I get to my weight goal, I plan to go down to one pill a day instead of 3. SATISFIED"

For Anorexia "After having kids, I had a hard time trying to maintain my weight. At my lowest point, I was way down to like 109 lbs. Over the years, I would fluctuate between 117 to 120 lbs. I'm 5'5'', and I felt pretty skinny, which made me uncomfortable. So, after researching Periactin, I went to my doctor and got the prescription. I must say, these pills changed my life. I'm now at 140 lbs, I feel great, and they worked pretty fast. I would say within 3 weeks, I noticed big changes. I stopped taking the pills a few months ago, and I'm still maintaining the weight. Plus, I added Boost Plus to my diet, and I'm very satisfied. Everyone notices the weight I put on. Oh, and I only took one tablet at night because they do make you extra sleepy... pros outweigh cons."

For Anorexia "At age 18, I started feeling insecure about being underweight. So I desperately researched different weight gain methods. I tried a few, but they didn't work. I never gave up, however, I continued searching until I found this product (Cyproheptadine). I am 5'6, when I started using Cyproheptadine, I was 111 lbs, now I am 141 lbs. My goal weight is 145-150 lbs. I started in March 2018, and we are in September 2018. #FastResult Yes, it made me drowsy for the first 3 days, and afterwards I was fine. My confidence is boosted, my health is very good, and the weight is going to the right places. I never regretted buying this product. It is also reasonable."

For Anorexia "I've been thin my whole life, and it didn't really bother me until high school. Never had an appetite to eat anything at all, and I started to think something's wrong with me. I took plenty of blood tests and urine tests to see if there was anything wrong with me, and three different doctors told me I am fine, but I felt like deep down something was wrong, so I decided to keep trying different doctors to see if anyone can help me. The fourth doctor I went to about this issue in July 2015 changed my life, literally. I explained my problem, and he told me it sounds like anorexia, and he prescribed cyproheptadine. This is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Thanks, Dr. Greenburg. Lol. P.S. To eliminate drowsiness, I let it dissolve in orange juice."

Cyproheptadine for Migraine "My neurologist put me on 4x4 mg Periactin at night as a preventative for chronic migraine. I was aware of the weight gain possibility and started running and yoga. I slowly gained 5 kg in 5 months. Upon noticing this, I tried even harder. With time and dedication, I was able to exercise and eat my way back down to my normal skinny weight. When I'm hit with a carb craving (which is pretty often), I eat 30 mg of a healthy carb (such as a 2-inch chunk of carrot). It satisfies perfectly as long as you haven't consumed a protein in the last 2 hours. Do not turn to fatty carbs. The drowsiness also wore off in the first week. I am the healthiest and best version of myself, thanks to migraines. Choose not to be a victim. I now run charity marathons and have kept my career."

For Anorexia "Yes, the hype is true with this med for appetite increase (also used for allergies, which works wonders). This will... I repeat, this medicine will make you sleepy, dizzy, and a bit lazy the first few days. I would say give it a full week before the sleepiness becomes manageable. I can recommend taking 2 mg, then up the dose every few days. **DO NOT take a full 4 mg at first, it will knock you on your butt. (Dissolving the tablet in juice or taking it with a full meal might help with the drowsiness.) Started this med at 100 lbs, 9 days later, I'm at 108 lbs. I rate it a 9 and not a full 10 because of the extreme drowsiness/sleepiness in the beginning. One last thing I recommend is to eat healthy foods to gain weight."

For Anorexia "I am the stalker who reads posts for my own benefit, but rarely contribute. Today I decided it was time to give back in the form of sharing my experience. I have ALWAYS been a hard gainer. I've had four kids and still maintained a size zero (93 lbs) weight at 5'1. After fighting to gain weight for the last two years, I was up to 108 lbs. Fast forward after having the flu followed by new braces, which limited eating, I ended up 96 lbs and fragile looking. I tried to gain it back, but since I was a hard gainer, I couldn't. Went to my doctor, got these pills after reading posts and gained 11 lbs in ten days. From 96 lbs on 5/1/16 to 107 lbs on 5/11/16. Drowsy days 1-2 only. Now no sleepiness and mega appetite. 4 mgs three times per day."

I took it on February 10th, I was 113, now it's Monday the 15th, I'm 119. So yes, it does work, and I'm also over the sleepiness. I love it, no bloated gut at all."

For Anorexia "I have always struggled to gain weight until my doctor prescribed me this. It took only a few days to get over the sleepiness, but it was worth it. After 2 months, I gained about 12 lbs. I only took 1/2-1 pill daily the first month. After I noticed a plateau in weight gain, I started to up my dose to 2 pills a day. So far, I'm continuing to gain and hope to gain more."

For Migraine "I have been taking this since I was about seven years old to fight off the migraines I was experiencing almost daily that would send me home from school. My doctor prescribed this to me, and almost 10 years later my migraines are practically gone. Now and again I'll feel the sensation of a headache coming on, and I still take it to fend them off. The only thing is it causes me to become drowsy and often puts me to sleep sometimes. I've learned to take it after my meals in the evenings because of this, so I'll wake up refreshed in the morning."

Cyproheptadine for Allergic Reactions "Started this medicine 2 days ago. Slept for 14 hours straight. Hunger just kicked in, and I ate a huge sandwich and drink, and I'm still hungry. Changed dose to 1/2 of 4 mgs and got up this morning normally. I intend to build up slowly because of the sleepiness side effects. I intend to stay on this due to my fast metabolism and stress to get back to normal. I think it is working!"

For Anorexia "Took Periactin once a day, as it made me very drowsy and heavy-headed. Although my appetite picked up a lot and over a year I put on about 10 kgs, which I wanted, it was the worst decision to take these tablets as it caused severe dryness in my eyes. This has led to terrible eye pain day and night. Sadly, I didn't make the link between the tablets and the pain until too late, but I have now stopped taking them. They probably work for some without side effects, but not for me, unfortunately."

For Anorexia "I've always struggled with my weight. I'm 30 years old with 2 boys, and my weight rocketed with both pregnancies and went right back down again. lol I've tried quite a few things, but nothing really helped. I do remember going to a Chinese herbal store 3 years ago and was given a powder mixture to mix with water and drink twice a day. It works, but I'm not good with drinking large quantities. Fast forward to today. I'm currently 5'6, weighing 153 lbs. I hate seeing what I see in the mirror: skinny arms, collarbone poking out, my breasts are literally nonexistent. It's sad! So, I went to my GP on 3/1/2019 and asked for Periactin. She was happy to prescribe it to me. It's been two days I've been taking these now, I take 3 a day, and they make me so hungry. I've also noticed I haven't been getting the sleepiness or headaches some say they have experienced within the first 3 days of taking them. I will be back to update after a week or 2 to see if I've gained any weight since."

For Anorexia "I tried this on a whim, after reading a lot of reviews. I was a little nervous, as my doctors have never heard of it. Still, I took the chance because I was desperate, and I've gained 15 pounds in 3 weeks! I'm still in shock. My stomach somehow turned into a bottomless pit. I will say though, I kept falling asleep for the first 3 days. Like, deeeeeep sleep. And I had the worst headaches of my life. BUT, it subsided after about 3 days. I still get a little drowsy and disoriented at times, but I don't take it as often now. I started with 3 doses of 4 mg/day, and now I take it once before bed."

Cyproheptadine for Anorexia "Being small my whole life, I thought I’d be small forever. I tried everything I could to gain weight and nothing worked. Until I decided to try medication, and that’s why I tried Periactin. Before starting Periactin, I weighed 104, and in a month and a half (no joke), I gained twenty pounds! Forever grateful for this medicine. The first week leaves you drowsy, and once the medicine regulates you're fine, it just gives you this constant placebo, you’re hungry, and boy does it make you eat."

Cyproheptadine for Urticaria "While taking this stuff, I began to have an insatiable appetite. My mouth is almost always dry, and my ears will have a screeching noise. It puts me to sleep within 20 minutes and is hard to shake off in the mornings, much worse than Benadryl. It is playing an effective role in controlling the chronic hives I have had for close to a year. Although I don't enjoy any of the side effects, I do thoroughly enjoy not having hives all the time! I have a much better quality of life since I've begun this new prescription!"
