Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for B12 Nutritional Deficiency "Started taking organic vegan liquid B12. I work out 5 days a week. One month after taking the B12, I began rapidly losing belly fat, which exercise was not doing! Highly recommend for reducing belly fat!"

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "The second lot of injections I had set my anxiety off so bad I had insomnia from not being able to sleep, and this time it's making me feel anxious and making my heart beat so fast. So, not sure I should continue with it."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Schilling Test "I have been using B-12 inject for close to twenty years. I suffer from thyroid problems and am currently treated with pills. I also have goiter, fibromyalgia, RA, osteo, being tested for lupus (which is almost a yes for sure), panic disorder, chronic, and several other minor things. My body is in daily pain. I use 1500 mcg of B12. This aides in pain relief, as well as a mood enhancer. It also puts you down when you're too highly strung. It also keeps your skin so pretty. I go weeks when, sometimes, I forget to take it, and my body screams 'please get me the B12.' It seems to run your nervous system and pain. I take this to ease some parts of pain for what it works on. When the weather is nice, 1000 mcg a month. It seems to be keeping me normal. Love it..."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for B12 Nutritional Deficiency "I feel this helps when I have a flare-up with my back, resulting in fatigue and non-stop colds, severe joint pain, nerve pain, disc deterioration, and a long list of other issues. It takes about 24 hours to feel the effects. I have never had the side effects that I know of or have been led to know about through my physicians. I have my liver and kidney blood checked every 6 months, and it seems to help. So far, this is helping, and I can only pray it continues to help without the side effects."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for B12 Nutritional Deficiency "I've been getting B vitamin injections for 9 months. Taking with phentermine for weight loss. Have more energy, I sleep fewer hours without being fatigued, and have not been sick once since I started. Lost 40 lbs total with both meds."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "I lacked the intrinsic factor to absorb Vitamin B12 from food since I was in my 30s. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2x, and now at age 55, I increasingly find that I am dependent on the B12 for energy, mood, and weight maintenance. I can tell when my levels are low without a calendar as this usually occurs about 3-5 days before the end of the month when I am due for my shot."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "Not good, after just two injections I have loss of urinating control, dizziness, feeling not in control. Just feeling peculiar. I have stopped the planned course after two injections. Hoping the effects will pass. Interaction with other taken medications not expected."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "I am 50. Initially, I tried it to fight depression and low energy. Hoped it would help me trim off 10 lbs without the need for a diet. At first, it helped, but after a few months, I started gaining weight and developed muscle fatigue. I literally weakened by about 20%. These injections began having a negative effect on me for everything I hoped they would help. I am not taking another one."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) "Vitamin B12 really helps with depression and has helped me a lot. It's actually helped me more than depression medication (SSRIs). So take a daily multivitamin with it and/or an energy drink every day with it and you should feel better."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "I was on Vitamin B12 injections years ago and felt good. The thing is, my workmates mentioned how I was different. I also have a thyroid problem and have started my injections again. I just didn't know why or what had me feeling so bad. I was diagnosed with bipolar, but I wonder even with just B12 deficiency or thyroid alone. They have such an impact. But together, I am very affected. Once I feel better, I will see if I am bipolar. The B12 injections do help, maybe not instantly, maybe days or longer, but they help 100%."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for B12 Nutritional Deficiency "I am on the shot for my B12, and it works like a charm. I first noticed my feet would burn like someone put a match under my feet and lit it. Since I've gotten it, my feet have been doing better, although just weeks before I get the shot, my feet start to burn, but after I get it, it’s gone. I will probably have this shot for the rest of my life."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "My diet is mainly vegetarian, fish, and chicken, hence, I have a vitamin B12 deficiency. However, I have high energy levels. I have recently started vitamin B12 injections. After the second injection, symptoms commenced, which I don’t suffer from normally: high anxiety, racing heart, high blood pressure, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. I went back to my holistic doctor, and we decided to stop the injections and take only the sublingual and vitamin B tablets at breakfast time. We will try injections every few months."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "I started injections about two months ago. The first month was an injection once a week. Now I go once a month. The only thing I have noticed is a huge increase in back pain. I had to go to the emergency twice! No one told me I might have pain. But it makes sense, my nerves are waking up. Also, I feel seriously bloated. Sometimes my jeans fit fine, sometimes they are tight. It's not vanity, I am fighting diabetes with diet and exercise, so the weight changes are disheartening. Other than the pain and bloat, I don't really notice much difference."

For Pernicious Anemia "1998: After several years of slowly increasing tiredness, decreased running performance, and finally numbness beginning in the balls of my feet, I switched doctors and was diagnosed with pernicious anemia. This young doctor listened and bothered to run a blood check, unlike the first doctor. Blood B12 levels were in the basement despite my huge vitamin B doses taken orally. (Stomach absorption pathway is broken in pernicious anemia.) Began monthly B12 (cyanocobalamin, 1 cc) injections for life, an easy, effective solution. A month later, I could take 2 flights of stairs at work on the run again. Measurements confirmed the nerve damage in my leg was reversed when rechecked 6 months later -- no more 'peripheral neuropathy.'"

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for Vitamin B12 Deficiency "B12 is miraculous for me. I developed anemia from cancer treatment and went on B12 shots which gave me energy and resolved the anemia. I took the shots monthly for two years, I'm not on shots anymore. I take 1000 mg pill one per day."

Nascobal (cyanocobalamin) for Pernicious Anemia "I was given the option of B12 shots or Nascobal nasal spray to maintain my B12 levels after being diagnosed with pernicious anemia. I chose Nascobal and have been using it for 5 years now. I administer it once every 7 to 10 days. Very easy and much better than shots. I do sometimes get a mild headache a couple of days after taking it. But that's not enough to deter me from using it."

For B12 Nutritional Deficiency "45-year-old female, have felt tired for years, as if I always needed more sleep, no matter how much I was able to get. Afraid of needles and not looking forward to giving myself shots, I put off going back to the Dr. for months after my blood work revealed a severe B12 deficiency. Wish I had not, the shot was painless, a tiny needle and easy to do at home. Results are excellent for me, within 3-4 days, I was clear-headed in a way I have not felt for years. I do not feel like I needed more sleep all the time! Not implying an overly energetic or a high-type feeling, I just felt normal. The hereditary dark circles under my eyes seem to be lighter too. For me, the results are a dramatic improvement and the medication is very easy to use."

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for B12 Nutritional Deficiency "I started using the combined patches 3 weeks ago. One a week Last week I had buzzing u set my left foot and never connected anything . This week I got palpitations out of the blue! Currently day 4 won’t be using them again as googling led me to this page and others like it. The patches are combined with folate. Slow release…. For Vitamin B12 Deficiency "Holy shit!! I had b12 deficiency for around 10 years (suspected timeframe) without getting treatment and holy moly the treatment has honest to god changed my whole view of life. Compared to 2 months ago when I started treatment to now I don't even like the same things anymore and I am EXTREMELY more social and happier socially than I was before. Deficiency caused me to be in a constant "sleeping drowsy state and all I wanted to do was to sleep and watch movies and dream away. It was a strange lifestyle. I tried to become more active but every attempt just failed. If I tried to work without having slept at least 2 times in one day (yeah!) I would be completely nonfunctioning vegetable. Now? I go to work with 3 hours sleep and pound through the whole day no problem. 4 weeks of pills made such a dramatic difference i would urge anyone that suspects it to go and get tested."

For Vitamin B12 Deficiency "I have been eating a plant based, whole food diet (vegan) for the last year and taking this form of b12 every day. I take 1000 mcg twice daily and this has not helped at all. I have become more and more tired and just don't have energy to do the normal activities of daily living. I have been researching and found many people can not utilize this form of cobalamine and have taken methylcobalmine with great success. I took my first dose tonight and will report back. There was even a doctor who reported that in his practice he found the above information to be true with respect to oral supplementation. He did say that injections of cyanocobalamine worked but the oral form failed. Sublingual methylcobalamine did work with his patients."
