"I have had a painful inflammatory skin condition on my face for 8 years now that had been diagnosed as shingles, adult acne, or dermatitis herpetiform. No one was sure what it was. The condition was painful, bled frequently, was swollen, had a burning sensation, and left scars as the lesions healed. My doctor got some samples of Eucrisa and gave one to me to try. The result has been nothing short of amazing. Within 24 hrs. of the first application, the lesions have begun to heal, the swelling, redness, and pain have been greatly reduced. Previously, I had used antibiotics and every kind of ointment available to no avail. The only thing I noticed was a burning sensation when it was applied, which went away in about a half hour on the first application. It did not burn with subsequent applications. This is nothing short of a miracle."

"Horrible burning! Prescribed Eucrisa for severe itching (dermatitis) around eyes. Made condition significantly worse and felt like I had flames coming off my eyelids and under eyes. Tried putting up with it for as long as I could stand it. Was actually making a bad situation worse and finally had to wash it off and apply a cold compress for half an hour to calm it down. Add the fact my insurance company was charged $1,099.99 for this stuff only makes the situation worse. Now my eyes are worse and the ointment is a greasy mess that does not go away. Who would want to be out in public with greasy eyes? Would definitely not recommend this!"

"Eucrisa was the only thing that worked for my dermatitis after trying four different topical drugs and phototherapy. Yes, there was burning, but it didn't cause 'agony' and 'suffering' like others describe."

"Over the past 30-60 days using Eucrisa on my face (mild eczema) and upper back (notalgia paresthetica). Itching decreased noticeably within a couple of weeks, the moderate burning subsided and disappeared after two weeks, and the scaly patch on my forehead has disappeared, but I continue to have some scaly skin at the brow patch. All positive. Now for the negative-could be coincidence, but I have noticed some welty, itchy bumps lately where I apply it to my back. But my gut is telling me there is a relationship. I wonder if the intense burning with application is from applying too much. Just a thought from somebody who has had long-term mild eczema."

"I’ve had eczema on my face for about 11 years now. The doctor prescribed steroid creams and pills, which had their drawbacks. So they decided to give me Eucrisa, and in all honesty, it helped. It stings a lot on even just the smallest cuts from light scratching, but it helps. Try to mix it with Vaseline to dilute it (stinging) and to help moisturize your skin. It sucks to have eczema, especially on the face because it's exposed to constant environmental change. So it flares up the most for me during weather changes."

"I have been using this cream for about 2 months. I have dyshidrotic eczema on my feet. And this cream has not worked for me at all. My feet itch so bad it's driving me crazy! I'd rather have the steroid injections... another waste of money!"

"Ever since I was 9, I have had very extreme eczema, and I mean REALLY bad. I was born with light brown skin, but as I grew older, my arms and neck got darker and dry. When I used steroid ointment, my cracked skin would clear up for a couple of months, but soon it would be back to square 1. I just recently have been prescribed Eucrisa by my allergy doctor. Every time I use it, my skin would burn like crazy. I don't think I'll ever use this again."

"I was born with eczema, so I’ve been trying things for 23 years. When prescribed Eucrisa, I was excited to think a non-steroid cream may help. But this cream is the greasiest and feels like acid is being poured on my face. I’ve never felt such excruciating pain in my life (and in the past, I’ve literally had my skin scraped off with a scalpel for samples). I couldn’t handle it. It dried my skin out and left me greasy as can be. Not worth it."

"My daughter was prescribed this medication for very dry, red patches on her face. After a few days of use, her face was covered with acne, and she felt burning and rawness on her face. Her face became even more red than it was initially! Once she stopped using the ointment, it calmed down. We won’t be using this anymore. Back to the drawing board ☹️"

"I have a combination of chronic allergic hives (source unknown to this day) and eczema. I was in true misery for months with completely broken, red, hot, insanely itchy, burning skin before an allergist prescribed me Eucrisa. Within 20 minutes of my first use, my severely irritated skin felt calm enough to put clothing over. It’s the first and only product that worked for me to fade the rash and heal the broken skin, too. (Probably because it allowed me to stop scratching and let it heal.) Before I found Eucrisa, I was relying on steroid injections because oral weren’t touching the issue. So thankful I found this product."

"It does almost nothing to help my severe total body eczema. I blend it in with Vanicream moisturizer. It burns a little bit briefly on the face, but at least Eucrisa is better than nothing at all. It's mostly something to use on days when I must take a break from using steroids."

"I’ve been using Eucrisa for 10 days now. It does seem to help. I put on a lotion from Avon that has lidocaine in it first, and it numbs my skin on my neck where I have eczema, and it makes it where it doesn’t hurt or burn or itch when I put the Eucrisa on. It really makes it comfortable to put Eucrisa on my eczema."

"First of all, it pretty much made me confirm I had insurance, which I thought was weird. It burned like crazy, and it actually made my condition worse. Like, it actually spread more across my face. My derm gave me a prescription for desonide, which worked in a day, literally. This isn’t really worth it in my opinion, but everyone is different."

"I've had eczema my whole life, and nothing has worked like Eucrisa. I get eczema really bad on and around my mouth, so my doctor gave me some sample tubes. Yes, it does burn for the first few applications or if I miss a few days of using it. The only reason it burns is because the skin is raw or broken. The more you use Eucrisa, the less it burns."

"This cream 2% did not work for me at all. The cost of this cream is $75, insurance won’t cover it. This is a totally useless cream after using it for 6 months. I wonder how they got FDA approval. FDA should investigate what people say about this useless cream. Do dermatologists get monetary benefits from this company? I believe so."

"My son has eczema since he was born. He had peeling of his hands and feet at some point. Now he has skin discoloration in some areas and continuous eczema rashes in other areas. Once we get one site cleared up, he gets a flare somewhere else. He's tried two other steroid creams before I asked the doctor about this one because I wanted to get him off the steroids. We got samples, tried it as prescribed. It burned as expected the first couple of applications, but he wanted to try it out for longer to see if it would help. It dried out my son's skin to a point where he couldn't extend his arms and legs to walk normally. His skin was so dried out he couldn't move for fear that it would break his skin, and it was painful when he did move. We would put lotion on, and within five minutes, his skin had soaked it up and he was back to not being able to move again. Overall, I'm glad others are having a great response to this treatment. It unfortunately just did not work for my son."

"Used it for 3 days around my eyes since my Dr wanted me to stop using hydrocortisone. On the 3rd day, I woke up with extremely swollen and itchy eyes, which were still swollen and itchy when I went to bed later that night. It's almost like it triggered horrible eczema as well, which is what it was supposed to be treating. Thank goodness I have a sample and haven't filled my expensive prescription."

"This is the greatest solution to a problem that I have dealt with for years. This product has all the benefits of a steroid without the baggage of what steroids cause. I highly recommend people trying this. It comes in a 60g tube, which is the size of a tube of toothpaste. Thank you, Pfizer, for this great product. Yes, it cost me only $35.00."

"I have suffered through bouts of eczema for years on my neck, face, arms, and legs. I've tried so many things, and the only thing that helped me was Cordran tape. I can't get that because it's $700, and my insurance doesn't cover it. There is also no online coupon, so I thought I would try Eucrisa. It burns like crazy and makes the area itch for at least 10 minutes, and I didn't find it that effective. The part about eczema that is really difficult is the itching, and no matter what I try, I still itch. I feel slight relief, but it's not worth it to pay $700 for minimal results."

"Seeing the commercial was what encouraged me to approach my doc. I have a small patch of dry, scaly, itchy skin about 2 inches in diameter. It’s been there about a year and constantly itches. The hair grows sideways and not downward like it should. I’ve tried this for two weeks as prescribed. What a disappointment. My pharmacist said it was over $700! My copay was $40. I desperately wanted it to work. How can a cream that’s ineffective cost so much? I guess I could have bought it in Mexico or Europe for much less."

"Don't try this! I've been battling atopic dermatitis/eczema for 30 years, and Eucrisa is the WORST treatment I've ever tried. I put it on my face, and it burned with the most excruciatingly deep pain you can ever imagine. I can't describe how horrific it was, like a horror movie. I was screaming and crying, but there was no way to wash it off (actually, I wanted to claw my face off), and it took a while before the pain went away. I looked online and found other similar experiences. I can't believe they let this ointment on the market and that all these doctors are pushing it. Shame on you!"

"Does not work. I've had eczema for 45 years. Had great success with Synlar when it was made by the original company for 20 years. Once sold, the formula changed, I guess, and it stopped working. Been using Cloderm for 3 years successfully. Dermatologist gave me samples of Eucrisa a week ago. It does not burn. My eczema itches nonstop and, a week later, is spreading. I will go back to Cloderm."

"While I admit that this cream works well on my daughter's eczema, I will not use it on her because she literally SCREAMS anytime I have ever put it on her. She says it burns SO terribly bad, even just the smallest amount!"
