"This medication saved my life. Before Clonazepam, I could not leave my house, always afraid people were staring and judging me. I felt trapped in my own body. It was 2 years of hell, and I thought I had nothing to live for. 2 mg 3x daily, and I'm a completely different person. I can go shopping alone, have meetings, meet new people, but most of all, I can work a full-time job!"

"I suffer with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), Major Depression, and Generalized Anxiety. I've taken clonazepam as needed for a few years now. It's not something you should take daily like an antidepressant. That's where you get into abusing it. Taking it as needed, which for me is maybe once per week if that, helps. I get mentally and emotionally wound up, and clonazepam helps tremendously with just stopping it. Imagine crying your eyes out for hours and there's nothing that can make it stop, then you take a clonazepam. Within a few minutes, the extreme emotions just fall away and you can just breathe and relax. In short, if it's taken right, it's a lifesaver. If you have an addictive personality, I wouldn't tempt it."

"Clonazepam has made a new life for me. I agree with the experience of the first reviewer; waking up is so nice with clonazepam. I would suggest that anyone taking this medication just learn all about its usage, dosage, and side effects. I will say very bluntly, life isn't worth the struggle without clonazepam."

"Works great for anxiety and BPD dysregulation. I use it PRN for those extra rough days, and it works to get me through safe and sane. In conjunction with therapy (CBT and DBT), I've made great progress over the last 2 years."

"I have BPD, OCD (pure O (intrusive thoughts)) and dissociation that comes from anxiety. I have tried all sorts of benzos, and my opinion is that Klonopin works the best for anxiety and comorbid conditions. It helped me put me in balance, and the longer I take it (a longer period of time), I see improvements in my general mental health because it clears my brain fog caused by anxiety. I am able to think straight, and it is helping me to put in check symptoms that I cannot control on my own. I take it for 2 weeks, 0.5-1 mg per day with a few days off, for now, it works great. Also, I use omega-3 and do cognitive exercises just to prevent some cognitive deficits like memory loss because of benzos. Of course, like all benzos, be careful taking it, and if you don't need it, don't take it. Don't use it for experiencing some highs or something, benzos are extremely dangerous if you get hooked on them. Wish you all the best and good health✌"

"I currently am taking clonazepam 0.5 mg three times daily as needed. I also take Vyvanse 50 mg once daily to treat my ADHD. I noticed almost immediately that these two medications seemed to balance each other in a very positive way. The Vyvanse counters the fatigue and mental fog that is common with benzodiazepines, while the clonazepam counters the tremors, excessive sweating, and elevated heart rate that I occasionally experienced as a side effect from the Vyvanse. But overall, clonazepam has saved my life, I truly mean that. It’s helping me stay stable enough until my long-term medications reach their proper levels and can take over as primary pharmaceutical treatment in combination with DBT. This is of course my personal experience, everyone’s brain is very different, especially when it comes to us Borderlines. Keep researching, keep discussing with your doctor, I promise you that you will find the right combination of medication and therapy. Stay safe, my friends."

"I have tried almost every pill possible for my BPD. I never left the house, and it got that bad I was even ordering shopping to my house, and I would leave a note on the door for the postmen to leave my post in my bin outside because I was anxious of talking to anyone at all. Even family get-togethers were making me extremely panicky. I'm now on clonazepam after being on diazepam and then Xanax. It really is a miracle drug, 2mg 3x daily, and I can go out and enjoy my life. I can speak to new people and, most importantly, I can sleep at night and not wake up feeling tired like Xanax did for me. Not a lot of people would agree with me, but I think it's the best benzo on the market. (Before I was prescribed, I was self-medicating, so I've tried almost every benzo, even the RC ones like etizolam.) It's just amazing that I can finally live a normal life and enjoy it instead of waking up feeling like I'm in hell. There are a few side effects like fatigue, but it beats feeling depressed or anxious any day!"

"I was prescribed clonazepam 2 mg yesterday, and already it has made a difference. I did not wake up angry this morning and am feeling more chilled out than I have done for several years. Over the past decade, I tried every antipsychotic medication there is with no success, but now with clonazepam I have hope!"

"0.5-1.0 for 6 months of Klonopin. It’s good until it’s awful, and awfully bad. Very effective medication, but never would I recommend this to somebody until the last resort. The side effects will hit you after you have been on it for a period of time. I’ve never had cravings for any medication before. Never any problems with remembering to take medication, but this one is different because your body craves it."

"I have ERD - Emotional Regulation Disorder (aka BPD, Borderline Personality Disorder) & C-PTSD - Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. OMG, has this medication helped! I had so many symptoms with the two disorders, I would have been better off in hell. I was afraid to go places, thought people were looking at me, paranoid, agoraphobic, lived in the house like it was a prison, a pure hermit. I had to get my girlfriend to cut my lawns because I was afraid neighbors were looking at me and judging me. I dealt with pure panic and low self-esteem. If someone emotionally or physically hurt me, I would explode with rage and really do damage to them, scratching my head until I was leaving bald patches and biting my nails until there was nothing left, self-harm to escape the emotional pain."
