"I am not allergic to anything but I will write cefdiner down on every dr form going forward. This was the absolute worst experience. Went in for an ear infection, haven’t had one since I was a kid. By day 2, I realized the medicine was actually making me worse and causing the pain to return. It also led to excruciating stomach pain and tightness in my lungs and muscles. Completely healthy mid 30s and this drug destroyed me."

"Our 3 year old suffers from dog allergies and when he was exposed he had a flare up which caused a sinus infection which led to an ear infection; he was prescribed Cefdinir but it didn’t work at all. After we finished the prescription I had to take him back to the pediatrician and be given Augmentin AKA Amoxicillin/Clavulanate. Worked like a charm and our little guy is back to his fun-loving self."

"They prescribed this to my 10 month old for an ear infection. She wasn’t showing any signs of infection but during her visit they discovered the infection. So they prescribed her Cifdinir and after first 2 doses I missed almost one day so instead of double dosing I just let her skip a dose. I feel terrible for missing a day but for stuff like this is, if I don’t set a timer, I miss the mark. However I know these symptoms aren’t from a missed dose, they’re from the medicine. She kept a temp of 102-104 so I took her to the ER and they told me the home remedies for breaking the fever so I did. But no matter how many times I broke it, it would rise again immediately. It got up to 104.7. I thought I was going to vomit seeing my baby look so miserable. She had diarrhea from it, she lost her appetite. She was like a limp noodle and she couldn’t get comfortable. I was so scared for my baby. But I don’t know if I should just abruptly stop giving it to her?"

"I took two cefdinir pills a day for 7 days for my ear infection and I’m writing this to tell you that as someone who is emetophobic and has IBS this worked wonderfully. My only side effect was more gas than usual. Everyone is different so please be aware of that when reading these reviews. I was super scared to take this at first but it worked great. I made sure to eat when taking it and a few hours afterward had some yogurt and a probiotic capsule. I have also found cephalexin (similar to cefdinir) to work well for me too. The z pack always gives me diarrhea. Give these a chance and remember everybody is different."

"1st 3 days. Optimistic. Alertness. Slight insomnia. 5-hour sleep each. Day 4 slight lethargic halfway. Slight back pain, but really mild. Barely there. However, as Day 4 progressed, not hungry for lunch at all. Chills midday. Laid there 2 hours. Slight fever. Finally, evening. Ordered food but only ate half. Not hungry. Ate anyway. Slight fever. A psychological thought happens on day 4. You lay there in bed and think, you are really weak. It’s not emotional, but it’s a sense of, ‘there’s no way I can take my second dose on day 4.’ The trick in the mind says ‘if you’re this lethargic now, then the next one will be a ‘double’ ‘whammy.’’ Drinking water is key. I took it anyway, with a little food. Within 15 minutes, the lethargy is gone and the slight alertness is back, which isn’t so bad."

"I was just put on this cefdinir 300 mg capsule medication. I am allergic to penicillin. I'm scared to even try it. I don't have a gallbladder anymore, so it would make me live in the bathroom for the diarrhea anyways."

"Very happy with my overall experience on this medicine. I had a severe ear infection and other antibiotics did not help. After taking this I am much better than I have been yet. Although the infection is not fully gone, it is less than it was. The worst part about this was the loose stool but I can handle that in comparison to anything else. Personally I would recommend this but this is just my experience and everyone is different."

"My 3 year old daughter was given this for double ear infection and I have to say, it is AMAZING. She was complaining of ear pain one night, I took her into doc the next day & they gave her this antibiotic due to her not agreeing with amoxicillin in the past. After the first dose even it helped her SO MUCH. She’s on day 2 (dose #2) & acts as if she doesn’t have an ear infection, running around acting completely normal & nighttime definitely isn’t as rough as it was. One happy mama here!! She was given 250/5ML. The flavor/smell of it is outrageously good, which is a plus having a toddler take it. :)"
