"I could tell a huge difference after the first day. My sinuses were very tender and my teeth were hurting on the top. I finally broke down and went to the doctor and he gave me cefdinir. No more tooth aching and congestion/drainage/sore throat. Yay."

"I am on a 3-day cycle of this. Today is day 2. After taking one, I was okay until I ate lunch. Could not make it to the bathroom. I thought it was just a rare occurrence. So I took the second pill. A few hours later, my back is in so much pain on the right side. Got up this morning and can barely move, sit, or lay. I'm thinking of not taking the rest. I'm very sensitive to medication, and I think this will be on my do not take list."

"I took it by IV at the hospital for 3 days, dry mouth, no sleep in 48 hours, not much after that. I have been home nearly 24 hours, still can't sleep, no appetite, can't concentrate. I was being treated for my Crohn's."

"I weigh 120, female, very healthy, in my late thirties. I took cefdinir 300 mg twice a day for six days. I highly recommend drinking 2 liters of water per day and taking a probiotic 4 hours after the antibiotic. Take probiotics every day even after one finishes the treatment, it helps prevent diarrhea, which I have IBS. I also used a vaginal probiotic suppository every night, which prevents yeast. The sore throat left by day five, one has to have patience with this drug. The side effects for me were, on the fifth day, a burning mouth, which advanced to oral thrush. I found this odd, for the pills are not liquid, they are encased. On day one of the medication, I had a rumbling stomach. I find Ceftin to be more tolerable, however, I would consider this medication again due to the quick duration of treatment. I prefer 5/6 days to 10 with most antibiotics. I hope my experience has helped."
