Cefadroxil for Urinary Tract Infection "Taking for a severe UTI, I've been bent over in pain for 2 weeks after a hysterectomy. Been on several antibiotics, keep switching because of side effects and allergic reactions. This one works!!! Slight light-headedness and nausea for about 30 minutes after taking, but not bad. In 3 doses, my UTI pain is gone!! It was expensive but worth it. Taking 1 gram 2x daily for 10 days. On day 2."

"I had my left hip replaced at 42, and they never could figure out why I needed it done so young, but it did go over pretty well. Then I spoke too soon. Two weeks later, I couldn't walk, and I was admitted to the hospital, and the doctor came to tell me the great news: my right hip bone was pretty much falling apart. So that night, I then had my right hip replaced, and both of them before I turned 43. I wasn't home 2 days, and clear fluid started leaking from my right hip, where the incision was. To wrap my long story up, that was two years ago, and I'm still on daily antibiotics because my infectious diseases doctor says if I were to stop my antibiotics with the infection that I have, it will end up turning into MRSA resistant form. And there are very few options in case I were to end up with that form. So cefadroxil has kept the infection at bay."

For Skin or Soft Tissue Infection "I have a cyst on my shoulder that had become infected/inflamed. Sadly, it didn't go away on its own, so I needed an antibiotic. I have a huge fear of taking any medication, so naturally, I was nervous to take this. I'm happy to report that I had ZERO side effects. Not even a slight stomach ache. I took it with food just to be safe. My cyst does seem to be doing better, and the swelling has gone down."

For Skin and Structure Infection "Severe skin ulcer infection. Taking 1 gram cefadroxil 2x a day via IV. After 3 days, infection greatly reduced. Only side effect was severe intestinal cramping and diarrhea for a day and a half. Received probiotic powder, and side effects much better on day 4. Infection gone on day 4, but will stay on medication pills 6 more days at home."
