"I have been on Suboxone for 4 months. I was just switched to Zubsolv because the taste of the Suboxone made me nauseated. So I was switched. I've been using this product for 3 days now. I think it works wonderfully. I have no side effects that I've noticed. I love the taste, so no more nausea."

"I don’t understand all the negative reviews on Zubsolv. I started on Suboxone and recently switched to Zubsolv with no problems. It works just as well as Suboxone, and I haven’t had any side effects. If it’s the same medication, I don’t see why so many people are having problems..."

"I was on methadone 100 mgs/day for 12 years and switched to Suboxone almost 3 years ago. I tapered down on the methadone to 40 mgs over 6 days, AMA, before switching to 24 mgs/day of Suboxone. My methadone clinic said I was going to regret not doing a slower taper, but I had had it with methadone. I had maybe a few days where I didn't feel great, but it wasn't like full withdrawal. I just got switched to Zubsolv, and honestly, it works just as well as Suboxone. Reading what some people have written, I have to wonder what part of your experience with any medication comes from your expectations. I went off methadone with the point of view that most bad symptoms would be in my mind, so I stayed really positive and had no problem. Stay positive! ✌"

"I have been on Zubsolv for just 2 days now, and it is life-changing. I have been taking 10 mg of hydrocodone for a few years now, at least 10 times a day or more, and I cannot believe how well this medication is working. When I would run out of hydrocodone, I would take things like morphine and hydromorphone because I was so scared of getting withdrawals, which only made things worse, obviously. Although I have never tried Subs or any other detox for that matter, I am absolutely shocked at how great I feel. I cannot believe I was so afraid for so long to stop using the painkillers out of fear of withdrawal. I would recommend Zubsolv to anybody wanting to stop opiates to try this route. I feel clear-minded, energized, and I have no need to reach for my pills."

"I have been on methadone 40 mg for two years, and dropping myself down to 5 mg, it took 2 years to get to 5 mg. Then I went to Zubsolv 5.7. My first experience was it got me high, I mean real high, nose itching off and euphoria out the ass. I am still feeling weird 12 hours later, and I've only taken one pill all day. This stuff is strong, I've taken Suboxone and never felt like this. It tasted horrible though, and Zubsolv tastes way better. I'm giving it a try, will likely break mine in two because it's so damn strong. I don't like feeling like this all day. But I will say I haven't been in any pain or any withdrawal all day, but feel drugged out and sleepy 12 hours later. I think it's gonna work for me, but I am going to break it in two."

"Our insurance only covered Zubsolv, so our first day was on Tuesday, and 4 days later we feel AMAZING! BUT, make sure before taking this you are in moderate withdrawal or you WILL get horribly sick! We’re taking 5.7 in the morning and then half of that in the afternoon for now, the doctor said. My first time taking it, I didn’t take it right. Make sure you place it under your tongue, do not open your mouth or speak for 15 minutes, and DO NOT swallow during the 15 minutes. I also suffer from depression and anxiety super bad, and this is literally a miracle medication. Helps me stay clean, tastes great, and I feel how ‘normal’ people would feel. Depression is GONE, anxiety, I remain calm while on Zubsolv. I can’t believe we didn’t try this sooner. Get in a program, take these as prescribed, and I swear you will get your life back! I was never on Suboxone to start with, so I really can’t compare the two. We have our lives back, and our marriage is great. Good luck!!!"

"I am on my second day of using Zubsolv. When I got out of bed this morning (after having slept 7 solid hours!), I felt a little groggy but ready to start the day. No diarrhea, night sweats, achy bones, or litharge. Unbelievable drug. I have tried detoxing half a dozen times. But I got so deathly ill that I had to go get more opiates just to feel normal again. This addiction grabs a hold of you and reins your life in a very short period of time. My advice... Forget the home remedies, find yourself a good addictionologist, and start to live your life again. I'm not afraid to go to bed tonight, that in itself is a miracle."

"I was prescribed Tylenol 3 for a whole year after a back injury at work and under the care of a pain management specialist. I had a concern for how they were going to get me off of this drug once the spinal injections started to kick in while taking it. Their response - Tylenol 3 is not as addictive as other narcotics! Rubbish! Here I am, 3 years later. I didn’t want to take Tylenol 3 forever, I was having to take 10-12 pills a day just to feel normal. I then sought help and started Suboxone. I’ve been taking 2 of the 8 mg/2 mg for the past year and have felt somewhat normal again. My insurance decided that they wouldn’t cover it anymore and said Zubsolv would be the equivalent! RUBBISH AGAIN! I started taking the 5.7 tab twice a day, and within a day, I was in full withdrawal! Sweats, nausea, crying spells, anxiety! I felt HORRIBLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this rubbish to ANYONE! I’d rather pay out-of-pocket and fight the insurance than to feel like I did a few days ago!"

"I was on Suboxone for the past 5+ years, first on the original, orange, stop sign-shaped pills (2 years), then switched to the Suboxone strips for the past 3 1/2 years, but recently had to change to Zubsolv, due to my insurance no longer covering any other form of buprenorphine other than Zubsolv. At first, I was very nervous about it since I was taking 24 mg per day of the strips, and the Zubsolv equivalent was only 17.1 mg per day (3-5.7/1.4 mg tablets). I decided to just keep an open mind and not get too caught up in the different mg totals since Zubsolv is better absorbed. It took a few days to get used to, but I honestly can't tell any difference other than taste."

"I can say this medication has saved my life. Over and over again, every single day. I started off on Suboxone for over a year and my doctor switched me. And like any other addict, I was freaking out about it not working the same. I had so much anxiety about feeling any sort of withdrawal or not feeling good. But soon after starting it, my worries all disappeared. It worked wonderfully. I've now been clean for over 2 years since starting my treatment. I absolutely love Zubsolv, it really has saved my kid's mommy ❤."

"So I've been on Suboxone 8 mg 2x a day for the last 3 years. Of course, my insurance decided they weren't going to cover Suboxone anymore, so it kept going up in price every month. Finally, when it got up to $124/month, I decided to ask my doctor what I should do, and he sent me over an RX for Zubsolv 5.7/1.4 2x a day. I've only been taking it for 2 days, but I really like it. No withdrawals, no horror story to tell like many others. I don't discredit the other people who had a hard time switching, but I haven't at all. So at least try it for yourself before you knock it! If something changes, I will update my response! I really like the taste compared to Suboxone, and it dissolves way faster. Still cost me $65, but the insurance companies just suck. I wish everyone on these types of meds luck!! Recovery is awesome whether you were dependent or addicted!"

"It is great for opiate addiction withdrawal, and to stay off opiates. You do not have withdrawal and do not feel the opiate high while taking. I took Suboxone for 6 years and Zubsolv for 2. I have been off all for just over 3 weeks and finally starting to feel normal. I do have to tell you it can get your life back together, but at some point, you will want to stop. Withdrawal is just as bad stopping Zubsolv as opiates. The first 9 days for me were horrible, and I knew what I was in for. Not to discourage anyone, but hang in there, it will get better. You may feel like time has stopped for a couple of weeks, but for what it's worth, you'll be free and clean."

"I tried this before, and it gave me headaches, and got me restless, and wore off in a few hours, and was a horrible negative experience. Of course, that wasn't true, but if they were to get that P.A. back saying, if the patient just wants Suboxone because that's all he's known and used and doesn't want to switch, 100% guarantee deny. They said, unfortunately, more times than not, insurance companies deny these P.A. requests. I was scared, especially after reading so many comments on here about my same situation, and it brings horrible! I prayed! The next day, Thursday, my doctor called and said...... I WAS APPROVED!!! WOO! So, guys, YOU CAN appeal an insurance decision to only trying to cover Zubsolv and not Suboxone like you're used to, it was easy and fast!"

"I was in a horrid motorcycle accident and ended up having to take almost 8 10 mg Norco a day to feel good/normal. I went to a doctor who told me the Norcos were causing the pain now, and I needed to get off. Skeptical but hopeful, I tried the doc's plan. The first 3 days I was on Subutex, which I started as soon as my withdrawals started, and it took 2 pills before my withdrawals stopped after about 10 minutes. I continued on that dose for 2 more days and then started Suboxone strips, and after about 6 months, my doc switched me to Zubsolv. I cut down Zubsolv, as tolerable, from 2 pills a day to a quarter pill, then quit. 4 days later, I think I'm feeling a lot better, but I still need more time to normalize. Hope this helps!"

"Recently switched to Zubsolv 8.6 after 3 years on 12 mg Suboxone strips. My doctor and I had discussed making the first move in the weaning process, and when my insurance no longer would pay for Suboxone but would pay for Zubsolv, this seemed like the most natural progression. It is reported that Zubsolv has greater bioavailability than Suboxone. For me, it has thus far been a fairly smooth transition. I continue to have no cravings, nor have I experienced any W/D symptoms."

"It’s nice not to go look for painkillers - 7 years on Vicodin and it was out of hand - could not get enough, and I could not function without it. Now I can lead a normal life with Zubsolv, 1 a day - I can actually be me like I was when I was young. If you are afraid to stop - don’t be. This drug is here to help!!!! Best thing ever for detox."

"1st day on Zubsolv. I have no history with Suboxone, and I can't compare the two. For the last year, I was averaging 20 days of the month on 150 mg of MD per day and 200 mg of Hydro or Oxy for the other 10 days of the month. My source of MD went to the clinic every two weeks, so I always would be out of MD with 4 or 5 days remaining before this person went back to the clinic. Sad but true, and I accept that I am an idiot. Anyways, 24 days ago I just jumped CT. It was as bad as all you have read about MD. I was desperate and called a clinic and got on Zubsolv. Within 30 minutes, all the anxiety, pain all over, lack of motivation, etc. was fading. 1 hour later, I am like a different person. Based on 1 day, I am a fan."

"For 2 days, I took Suboxone film (8 mg), and the taste along with the long dissolve time was dissatisfying. So my doctor switched me to Zubsolv (5.7), and I could not be happier; the taste is amazing, and it dissolves in 3-5 minutes, not to mention (along with a coupon) I received my first prescription for free."

"I have been on Suboxone and generic Suboxone for about 2 years. I was paying $300 a month for the generic tabs. This type of drug is a miracle for getting you away from a terrible lifestyle immediately! The Suboxone, I feel, is hard on your teeth, and the taste is bad for most people. Today is my first day on Zubsolv, I now have insurance and the monthly cost is $35! The taste is much better, and it dissolves very quickly. I feel great and just saved so much money!"

"I switched to Zubsolv after being on Suboxone for 3 months. They are so much better. I'm not sure if people understand the dosing, though. It's not a lower dose than Suboxone. Zubsolv has a higher concentration, therefore, the 5.7/1.4 is equal to the 8/2. The two medications are identical, except Zubsolv tastes a lot better and dissolves faster. I, like most of us, was a very heavy user, and I don't start to feel withdrawal symptoms after taking my Zubsolv for at least 3 days. I didn't read through all the posts, but the few I did, the people were still using, so of course, you're going to experience withdrawal faster... you're still using!!"

"I switched from Suboxone to Subsolv and have had no problems. My insurance was canceled on me, and I had to look for a cheaper alternative, and Zubsolv has been it so far for me. Zubsolv has a way better taste over Suboxone, for me, it was a mind-over-matter thing. I got used to the Suboxone, and the taste of it made me know I wasn't going to feel bad anymore, so I didn't mind it. Zubsolv is the same exact thing, but different taste, so don't let that freak you out. It's a very minty, clean feeling after you take it. I've almost forgotten to brush my teeth in the mornings because I had a good taste in my mouth from Zubsolv. Keep your mouth closed for a long time after you put it under your tongue, don't even talk, or you will screw up your dose."

"I started out on Suboxone strips at 12 mg a day (4 mg three a day). Yes, the subs worked, but I absolutely hated taking them. They take forever to dissolve and tasted awful. I would almost rather go through oxy W/D than have to take a Sub. So, I struggled taking subs as they were prescribed, so I kept using for the majority of the time I was prescribed simply because I thought they were that disgusting, not saying they weren't effective when I did take them. Anyways, recently I switched insurance companies, and they didn't cover Suboxone, so I had to switch to ZUBSOLV... WOW! Wish I knew about this a long time ago! I actually almost enjoy taking Zubsolv (I take 1 5.7/1.4 mg pill a day). It tastes like one of those wintergreen Lifesavers and dissolves way quicker than Suboxone. I am extremely grateful for this medication. ZUBSOLV is a game changer."

"Well, I've been a heroin addict for approximately 8 years and now have been taking Suboxone strips for 2 months, at 8 mg, 2 daily. I felt like some days this just wasn't enough, not to mention the horrible taste. I couldn't help but drink something, which I think was diluting it, so the doctor switched me to Zubsolv at the 5.7 mg, 2 daily, however, he gave me a few extra for my days, not wanting my tolerance to grow higher (thanks, doctor). That's a good doctor, however, I've been on them about a week now and only took a third one, I believe, 2 times. I like the taste much better, but I am noticing my blood pressure is much too high and I feel just blah. I don't know, but I got 3 more weeks to go, so I'm going to try to take them the right way, meaning no drinking or swallowing, take them at the same time I'm supposed to, and then see how it helps. I must say though this drug has saved my life, whether it's this or Suboxone, it helps keep me clean from heroin. On the drug, dreams have finally stopped, thank God!! Don't give up, people."

"I've had an extensive history with pain meds. My whole fam literally has drug problems and is addicted to alcohol. I was sober 11 years back in 2001. I was 21. Since I married, we had a child and moved cross-country. When we moved, I found out I had breast cancer. After being diagnosed at 36, finding out I carry the gene, an 18-hour surgery to save my life, throw a pulmonary embolism 3 weeks later my disease took over again. I was put on Zubsolv over 2 years ago. I thought this is a lifesaver! Now, day 15 into detox, I have never in my life had withdrawal this bad! I'm 44, healthy now. I have awful restless leg, flat affect, emotional, fever/chills... all for 11 days now! I have never in my life been in withdrawal for this long! You think it's saving you, you're switching an addiction for another one! No lie."

"I wonder if the release dates of Zubsolv and Suboxone were reversed and Zubsolv came out first, would all these stories be the same. I had been on pain pills since 2009, with severe neck and back pain from an oil tanker accident. In October 2016, after all the pain clinics started closing, I got fed up with withdrawals. I started buying Subutex, they weren't the greatest, but I wasn't sick. Then I found another friend to buy strips from. I was taking 2-3 a day. In February 2017, I found a clinic and my insurance only covers Zubsolv. I felt for sure they wouldn't work. The first couple of months I kept using, the doctor told me to give it 1 month clean and see. Well, it's been 4, I feel great!! I'm on 8.6 am and 5.7 pm! Can hold my wife's script for Oxy 15 mg and NOT TOUCH THEM!"
