"I bought boric acid just because I was curious about it. I always had recurring BV and YI, so I decided I’d try it due to the fact that I was tired of going back and forth to the doctor just to get antibiotics. The first night I tried it, the funky smell down there was gone, and my discharge was back to normal. When I smelled, I was embarrassed to have sex because of the smell and the thick white creamy discharge that came along with it. I can honestly say this is the best for your vagina."

"I had experienced the worst yeast infection ever. It lasted for 5 months. My doctor tried 2 different antifungal medications for various lengths of time with breaks in between. The symptoms would improve, but it never fully went away. I even tried the Candida diet while on medication. It was to no avail. Finally, as a last resort, my doctor mentioned OTC boric acid suppositories. Immediately, in 3 days after using it, there was a major difference that I hadn’t seen with any of the oral prescriptions. Within a week (7 days), my vaginal health was back to normal."

"Ladies, if you are on the fence about taking this like I was, I say this with 100% confidence, BUY IT! I have struggled with chronic yeast infections for about a year and a half now. I would get about one full week a month where I was okay down there. I always had some sort of odor, I was itchy down there all the time, and my discharge was anything but regular. I lost total confidence in myself and I went from having sex with my boyfriend from once a day to maybe once a month due to embarrassment. I decided to give boric acid a try. 600 mg a night for a week straight. I have never felt and smelled better. My pH has finally balanced. I have no odor, no itching, and completely regular healthy discharge. This pill has given me my life back, and I recommend it to anyone who is going through something like I was."

"Do not use this!!! I ordered some insertion boric acid pills off Amazon for a yeast infection. It made everything so much worse. My whole vagina was inflamed and produced a horrible reaction to the boric acid. The discharge was worse than my yeast infection. It took weeks to heal from this!!! Don’t use it!!!"

"I’ve had chronic vaginal infections for 4 years... only stopping for a week or two at a time. Even so bad I can’t work and am completely bedridden. I’ve had all the prescriptions and pessaries and even the one-time thrush pill every day. Nothing, boric acid combined with eating no sugar is the only thing that gives me some sort of relief for a few days so far! I am moving onto the Candida diet and I see a pelvic physio. But boric acid was a great step!"

"I used boric acid suppositories, and it made my vagina bleed for three months. I had been taking the same birth control for years. There was no other cause for this to happen to me except the boric acid that I used for 5 days."

"Did a 14-day course to clear a recurring yeast infection that nothing else had cleared. It worked very well, however, I wasn't able to get more pessaries for maintenance, and the thrush returned 2 weeks later. Finally got some more, on another 14-day course now, then will use once weekly to keep thrush away. I did feel very nauseous in the second week of using it, and it stung my boyfriend's penis during sex, so it's strong stuff, but it worked when nothing else did."

"I purchased vaginal boric acid online. A friend referred me to a specific suppository. I used the 1 at night and noticed that I was having cramping and a tender lower abdomen. The next day, I experienced 3 sharp pains in my left lower abdomen. I did not take another suppository the next day due to the reaction I had. Well... I decided to try another suppository again 2 days after the 1st suppository, and I felt bloated, had heartburn, was gassy, and had a tender belly. I’m not sure why I had these symptoms, but I won’t ever take this again."

"Who thought using boric acid was a good idea, might be good for killing insects but not so good for sensitive skin in women's private parts. Was recommended by a female doctor to use this for reoccurring thrush. Inserted one capsule that lasted an hour before the burning and flatulence drove me crazy. Wasted my money. Won't be trying this again anytime soon."

"Has worked on my azole-resistant yeast infection that no other antifungal could treat effectively. There is scientific literature to support this, and it is easy to get over the counter from a local compounding pharmacy."

"I bought boric acid inserts for the use of recurring BV. I was tired of wasting money and taking antibiotics. On the 1st day of boric acid, I experienced a dry throat, blurry eyes that lasted for an hour, and a headache that lasted 2 days. I’m not sure if I should continue using it, but what I love about it is that the smell is gone, the discharge is normal, and my vagina doesn’t itch anymore. I’m confused."

"My Dr. wanted me to be on boric acid vaginal suppositories for 2x for 6 weeks. This did not last long! 3 pills in and I started to have extreme internal and external vaginal dryness! This product did not work for me! I am now just waiting for the boric acid to be out of my system."

"My vagina never used to smell, but after a myomectomy (to remove uterine fibroids), my vaginal smell sickened me for years. I tried everything until I heard about boric suppositories. I had some boric acid in my medicine cabinet from years ago. I think I had bought it to dust my sweaty toes. I decided to try it by dusting the powder over my vagina. Voila!!! The smell disappeared. Never bought the suppositories. I just continue to use the boric acid periodically. It is a miracle cure. I think it stabilized my vaginal PH, which was disrupted by the surgery."

"I will never take these again. I've tried them 4 times. The first time I used them, it felt like my entire insides were about to fall out of my vagina, so I stopped. The second time I used it, I had sharp back pain and cramps, the third time was the same. It wasn't until my fourth time that I really paid attention to the pattern. Just the other day, I used it for the fourth time, and I am now suffering sharp back pain, bloating, gas, and bad cramps. I will never use these again, and I will be making an appointment to see my doctor or go to the ER if the pain gets worse."

"I decided to try boric acid because a friend told me about it. Well, I do not recommend anyone to use this product. I used it the first time at night, and I had pains in my lower abdomen. I used it again for the second time two weeks later, and I noticed pain again on the right side of my body, but this time the pain traveled down my right thigh. The next following week, I started to have pain in both legs and my knees, and now I am having a hard time walking on my legs. My knees feel as if they are going to collapse. The pain is unbearable, I see a doctor in two days. Lesson learned!"

"I would always get BV after my boyfriend came in me. They’d last months at a time, and I didn’t like the antibiotics because it made it 10 times worse. I didn’t like having sex with him because the smell would be so embarrassing! I was on Amazon at 3 AM and impulsively ordered boric acid. Best decision ever. After the first suppository, the smell went away. After day 3, I was completely back to normal. I suggest wearing a panty liner because there will be some discharge."

"I have struggled with recurring yeast infections for a few years now, using over-the-counter creams and prescription pills, and the yeast infection always came back in a few days or weeks. The boric acid is working faster and better than anything else I have ever used! I have had no side effects at all."

"I have Candida glabrata, (a not so easy to get rid of type of Candida) so after reading positive reviews online about boric acid, I gave it a chance. 1st night I used this thing, I had severe cramps, bloating, and abdominal pain. So, I took a break for 1 day and then tried again. Same thing happened, the pain and the bloating was unreal. I quit taking it. Never again."

"OMG, I was fine until I used these boric acid insert pills. I have hot burning and some itching. It was nice for a while to feel fresh and clean. But now I have been this way for over a month. I just realized that it’s from the reviews that I feel like this. OMG, will it ever stop? Maybe now I will get over the pain. It’s like my clitoris is on fire, and it hurts all night long, especially when I sit down. Ladies, leave well enough alone. Your body is meant to be the way it is. No creams or sprays should be in that vaginal area. If you have issues, see a doctor or get tested for STD if you think you need to."

"25 yrs of controlling yeast infections and BV. I just remember the 'know-it-all nurse' who told me over the phone that if I had a yeast infection, it was easy to cure. In the meantime, I was beside myself in agony. My doctor sent me to a specialist who recommended boric acid suppositories. He said some women just battle it all the time. Back then, you had to have a prescription for yeast infection cures, and you had to fill your own boric acid suppositories. It has been an absolute lifesaver for me."

"On no birth control - BV and thrush would always flare up randomly. Boric acid always wins. Antibiotics would give me thrush, so it was a war between that and BV, so taken with 70 billion probiotics as a preventive and don't use glycerin in any lubes."

"This gave me slight burning in my vaginal canal that gave me vulvodynia PTSD, and then I pooped so hard. Consider consulting a healthcare professional before inserting this stuff in your body. Now I have to wait for it to be expelled from my body, and then my vagina has to do its thing and get back to normal. Not fun."

"I've used it twice now. The first time was almost 10 years ago. I had recurring thrush, and my doctor said I needed boric acid as it was a bit of a different type from the normal. Whatever that means. It was great, worked well, and didn’t really get it again for years. Now I’m trying it again but am getting a bit of irritation and not sure it’s working the same way. My immune system was weakened by the vaccine, and I read it might not be good for people with a weakened immune system. I might try just using it a couple of days at a time as it was fine the first couple of days. Please note, those getting it online and then having bad reactions might want to consider that they are not getting a high-quality and regulated product. Who knows what you’re really getting off there. Common, please. Anything going into your vagina should be from a reputable source, not online."

"Every so often, usually a day or so after intercourse, I get a funky odor going on down there. It’s something that I feel uneasy and embarrassed about. So I thought I would try some boric acid suppositories, and I was amazed that the smell was gone within 12 hours!"
