For Dietary Supplementation "Yes, it seems headaches may come with biotin. So halve the dose. It's like in the hospital when you get an infection, they give you MASSIVE doses of antibiotics to absolutely be sure to destroy everything and anything. When it has been found that half doses or less work just as well. So if you are getting headaches, stomach cramps, or feeling nauseous, just halve the dose and see. Instead of taking a pill three times a day, try it once, at lunchtime preferably. And if you are getting bald spots from rubbing in a serum, stop using the serum."

Biotin for Dietary Supplementation "Been taking the supplements for about 3 weeks, and I’m noticing some hair loss. My hair is thinning out instead of getting thicker. Going to call my doctor today."
For Dietary Supplementation "I’m an 80-year-old female. I’ve been taking Biotin for about a month. It was recommended to me by my young granddaughter, who took it while she was having chemo, which was causing hair loss. I’ve always had thick hair but suddenly got a couple of patches of hair loss. Also, my nails were splitting lengthwise, also very thin and not growing. I’m amazed at the side effects some people have experienced. I can honestly say I’ve had nothing like this, and my nails are so much stronger and no more splitting. Also, my hair is back to normal. I certainly intend to keep taking it."
