Azithromycin for Sinusitis "Took away my ear infection but gave me nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, heart palpitations, anxiety, shortness of breath, diarrhea, dizziness, etc. So not worth it. I was less sick before starting this medicine."

For Chlamydia Infection "To be honest, I was terrified to take azithromycin again as it made me nauseous and on the verge of vomiting last time. But this time I was prescribed the four 250mg pills (1000mg) at once. I ate two grilled cheese sandwiches about an hour before I took them and just kind of waited to see how it’d affect me this time. And after an hour, I felt completely fine. Nothing. Nada. Zip. About two hours later, I was just really hungry, and then I went to bed. It affects everyone differently, and I’m glad this time there were no problems. It truly is a nightmare when you feel it is making you feel so sick. Just relax, eat some crackers, bread, and sip on some water. You’ll finally tackle this once and for all. And always remember safe sex from now on ❤️"

For Chlamydia Infection "I took 2 tablets by mouth as prescribed, after eating dinner. After about 10 minutes, I started to have very bad stomach pains and felt like I had to vomit. I also felt extremely hot. The effects lasted for a little over 1 hour. Although the side effects were bad, I really feel like the meds did the job. It's only been one day, and I've not had any vaginal discharge, and the odor has gone away. To me, it was worth the discomfort. Hope this helps."

Azithromycin for Sinusitis "Although there should be no negative drug interaction with this antibiotic and other medication I take daily, I had a severe allergic reaction: swelling of throat and tongue, vertigo and dizziness, bad taste in my mouth (even days after), and vomiting. I'm on my third day of the medication now and still feel sick and 'weird.' My throat and tongue are no longer swollen, but all my muscles hurt, and my skin feels painful, also major headache, and very sleepy."

For Pneumonia "Today is my last day to be on the pack 250 ml pill. I was very skeptical about this, but it seemed to have worked. I was diagnosed by an urgent care doctor for a common cold upper respiratory infection, so I was prescribed the medication. On my third day, I was still congested, and it was difficult coughing up phlegm. I called an online medical doctor who recommended taking Mucinex DM or Robitussin DM, and it helped. I did get better the day after taking the Z-pack. Side effects were vomiting on the first day, slight abdominal pain, and slight loss of appetite."

For Sinusitis "My 10-year-old had a right ear infection and was prescribed azithromycin. He took the first 2 pills, which totaled 500 mg, and within 30 minutes, he was vomiting, having diarrhea, and chest pains. We took him to the ER, where we were told there was at least a 5-hour wait and decided to take him back home and give him a lot of liquids to try and flush this out of his system. My advice: don't give a child 15 and under more than 250 mg."

For Chlamydia Infection "I took this medicine about an hour ago, and I'm having TERRIBLE stomach pain! And I feel very nauseated and like I'm fixing to vomit. Please someone help me? This is my first time being affected with this disease, and I don't know what to do. I'm really scared and in so much pain! I took 1 500 mg."

Azithromycin for Bronchitis "I took a full course of the 250 mg 5-day pack with no ill effects except for a metallic taste in my mouth, but then the bronchitis came back, so I was prescribed the 500 mg 3-day course. On day two, I got severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. I am not going to take the final dose because, although the bronchitis is better, I can't deal with the intense stomach discomfort."

Azithromycin for Chlamydia Infection "Soooo, I get a call saying I need to get checked, and of course I'm all butt hurt because I've had like one fling in my whole life, and of course it's the only guy I didn't use protection with. So I go in, I get tested. I get the results. It's chlamydia. My doctor prescribes me the drink powder, and honestly, taking the medicine was terrible because the powder doesn't dissolve all the way, so I had to keep refilling my glass. I gagged a lot, so just be careful with it. I ate right after I took it, and it took about 30 minutes for the stomach cramps to start in. They were pretty uncomfortable, but I didn't get diarrhea, just the cramps. It's not great, but I mean, it's the price I pay. Just gonna sleep it off. And probably never have sex again."

Azithromycin for Chlamydia Infection "I had pharyngitis and chlamydia, which was a double whammy. This is my second time taking these meds. The first time, not really any side effects, but this time, when I was on my last pill to take, I had terribly bad vomiting and diarrhea. Couldn't even keep water down. The next morning, I puked after drinking water, went to sleep, woke up, and felt better. Drank water again and am getting that pit feeling again. It did cure everything, though. This is to be continued..."

For Chlamydia Infection "First time taking the medicine. Two pills, 500 mg. I took the pills while cooking and ate immediately after. I laid down for a nap and fell asleep. I woke up with a strong sensation to throw up. I had to fight it for a while because I was afraid if I threw up, the medicine wouldn't work. Severe stomach pain as well. No other symptoms from my experience."

For Chlamydia Infection "I went to the doctor, and they made me take two 500 mg tablets of this medicine. I was okay at the doctor, but on my way home, I started to feel nausea and severe stomach aches. As soon as I came in, I started to cook some eggs and turkey bacon, but as soon as it was done cooking, I had to vomit and use the restroom. My stomach is hurting, and I feel so weak. Maybe it will change after I eat, but as far as right now, this is horrible. I took it on an empty stomach, so I see that's a no-go."

For Chlamydia Infection "I took 4-250 mg during 1 meal. My doctor said that this dose was enough for me to clear the infection. I am 5'3", 170 lbs. To avoid stomach pain, vomiting, or nausea, she suggested that I take 2 bites of my meal, take a pill... 2 more bites, take a pill, and so forth. It worked well!"

For Sinusitis "Took this drug (5-day dose) for a sinus infection. It did clear up the infection, but the side effects were horrible. I got dizzy, had a horrible headache, felt nauseous, and at one point even vomited. Each day was agonizing, and I think I could have taken something else easier on the body for a minor sinus infection. I finished my last dose two days ago, but I'm still feeling the dizziness. I hope it goes away soon."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took the treatment this morning, 4 pills at 10:30, played sports straight after till 1 PM, felt absolutely fine, then came home, and at 5:30, started feeling really ill, and ten minutes after, started vomiting and had diarrhea. It's 6:30 and still hasn't stopped. Will I need to go back and take it all again?"

For Chlamydia Infection "Doctor called and told me I had chlamydia today. I just got four pills of Azithromycin and took them all an hour ago. As I was driving home, I had to vomit ASAP! Pulled over on the highway and was sick for 15 mins. Now my stomach is in a lot of pain and diarrhea."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took 4 of the 250 mg. I'm 32 weeks pregnant. First time ever with an STD. I felt horrible, nauseated, vomiting, diarrhea, lightheaded, weak, cramps, and sleepy all at once. It's the next day now, I'm still having diarrhea, but I'm eating. Hopefully, it's all out of my system. I don't ever want to go through this again, this sucks."

For Chlamydia Infection "Found out my ex wasn't so trustworthy after all. Found out after 3 years I have chlamydia... took the pills probably an hour ago, and I'm in the worst pain I've ever experienced. My stomach feels like someone is trying to rip out my intestines. I'm white as a ghost, I can't get off the toilet. I really want to vomit, but I don't want to take these pills again. This pain sure makes you wonder if you ever want to have sex again!"

For Chlamydia Infection "Was diagnosed with chlamydia this morning, sadly, and was prescribed two 500 mg tablets to be taken at once. After about an hour and a half of taking them, I got the most excruciating stomach pain I've ever experienced. The pain was so bad I couldn't stand up straight without feeling like I was going to vomit everywhere. It's been about two and a half hours since I took them now, and my stomach is starting to calm down, no diarrhea 'so far,' but if it will get rid of the infection, I'm happy."

For Chlamydia Infection "The first time I took this for chlamydia was in 2014. A few hours after taking it, I had terrible stomach cramps, had to run to the bathroom to vomit and use the toilet at the same time. Nothing was coming out, so I just sat on the toilet trying to figure out what was going on. The next day, I had hives that went away within an hour. I wasn’t informed of any side effects. The pills treated the infection. Fast forward to now. I took two 500 mg pills a couple of days ago for a chlamydia reinfection, and immediately after taking it, I had super intense stomach pain. I couldn’t even take the bus from the clinic that was only a few blocks from my house, where they administered the pills. I had to call an Uber. I did have the pills crushed up by my physician because I have problems with swallowing pills, especially ones as large as these. And I took the pills on an empty stomach. I just hope that these pills treat me because the side effects are terrible."

For Chlamydia Infection "Took two hours ago, 4 pink pills. Threw them up after 40 minutes, but apparently, as long as they're in your system for 20 minutes, then you're fine. And now, two hours later, I'm glued to my toilet as well."

For Chlamydia Infection "Had this infection twice, smh. Took two 500 mg of azithromycin, which is 1 gram, 30 minutes after eating a big meal (as directed by the doctor). The first time, I had minor side effects. Just a bit of gagging, but nothing came out. This time, I felt horrible. Stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea, and I felt very weak. Took the pills around 8:15 PM. It's now 10:23 PM, and I'm feeling a little better. Ran to the toilet once because of the diarrhea. Hopefully, this medicine works a second time."

Azithromycin for Upper Respiratory Tract Infection "Dose: Azithromycin 500 mg four times a day. Prescribed for 7 days. On day 2 now, I feel the medication is working, feeling a little better already, but all day I've been with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and back pain. I usually don't get any side effects from antibiotics, but I'm struggling with this one. If side effects continue on day 3, I'm calling the doctor. Could be the dose is too high, who knows. I'm not enjoying this so far."

For Bronchitis "I wanted to give a complete day-to-day experience taking Z-Pak. Summary: I started to get sore throat, earache, fatigue, body chills, vomiting, and a slight fever. I would cough up white/slightly yellow mucus. Day 1: Fatigue was reduced by 80%, less coughing, didn't cough up as much mucus but dry hacking cough was still there. Day 2: Coughing was still there, ear infection reduced, little to no mucus. Couldn't lay down or would still get coughing fits, would have to sporadically sit up so I wouldn't cough throughout the night, had liquid stools. Day 3: Felt 70% better, coughing turned into an annoying honking cough with no mucus, slight blurry vision, some sweating, dryness, continued watery stools. Day 4: Feeling 75-80% better."
