Humira (adalimumab) "I have had psoriasis since I was a young teenager and started getting sore/stiff joints in my late 20s, around the same time the Psoriasis got significantly worse (covering a lot of my hands/fingers). The Humira didn't really help my psoriasis plaques however it was great for my joints. I noticed no more pain and stiffness in my joints which was really noticeable when I stopped taking it for a couple of weeks before taking my next medication, Tremfya."

Humira (adalimumab) "I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis (PA) and was put on Methotrexate first but it didn't work. I was prescribed Humira and within a few days I was virtually pain-free and my skin started clearing up too. I’ve been on this medication for more than 6 years and I am able to work long hours at work and exercise. I feel better at 45 than I did at 35. I have had 2 chest infections over the years I’ve been on Humira but they were managed with antibiotics."

Humira (adalimumab) "Hi, I have been on Humira less than a year. After the second injection, that evening I ended up getting horribly sick with a sinus infection. They ran everything from flu-COVID 2x and all came back negative. Couldn’t shake a a low grade fever. Then a derecho blew through and took out the power and lost my next dose. Couldn’t get ahold of my doctor to see what they wanted me to do about the injection, but no response so I stopped. I felt worse but better at the same time. Started Humira back up again and now I have been experiencing numbness, tingling, and swollen from my elbow down. I can’t grip things correctly for the loss of correct sensations. I cannot hardly sleep, no NSAID SEEMS TO HELP. Not sure what to do because the feeling started in one side over a week ago and they only upped my steroid to help for short time. Now I’m feeling it all on both sides. Help me!"

Humira (adalimumab) "After suffering for 2 years with unexplained joint swelling and pain, and while being treated for RA with no results, Humira changed my life. My rheumatologist gave me a sample on a Monday to inject and by Tuesday evening all my pain was gone. A 36 hour turn around that has been working now for 3 years. Now w/ citrate free there is absolutely ZERO discomfort. To the point where I question if there is anything in the syringe."

Humira (adalimumab) "I took my first dose of Humira (injectable pen) and one week later I have a terrible itchy rash all over my body. I went to my doctor and am waiting on biopsy results. Since I had the rash I got a steroid injection which hasn’t touched the rash and in fact it’s spreading even more. No one can seem to tell me if this is Humira but I’ve never had a rash like this before and nothing else in my life has changed."

Humira (adalimumab) "I was on the med about a year and a half ago. I loved it - cleared everything up! I felt good and confident! I did however get in a car crash shortly after the medication was kicking in. That being said I was given medication to bring down inflammation and pain in my freshly injured spine, hip, and pelvic bone. When it came time for me to do my injections the pain pills I were on interfered with my injections and I started getting a large swollen circle around the injection sight. My dermatologist quickly pulled me off of it and its all came back 10x worse. I remember waking up a everyday more disappointed and angry because having this disease is already obnoxious itchy and painful, but going from having nothing to a big break out makes you go crazy and it felt worse than ever. I guess I was to used to having a good thing."

Humira (adalimumab) "Diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in 2015, psoriatic arthritis a few months ago. I'm 35 years old and I am desperate for something to work. I've had 3 injections (one per fortnight) and haven't had any relief at all yet. Psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema all coexisting and it's a shame the PSA means I can't scratch myself. I really want to be able to come back later and say this has saved my life. No side effects though which is a positive!"

Humira (adalimumab) "Taking biweekly auto-injection, for nearly 2 years. I am a white male over 55. Cleared skin over 90% within months. Arthritis joint pain and swelling reduced over the mid-90s, sometimes joints do get sore but do not affect mobility. Nor do I take NSAIDs for it."

Humira (adalimumab) "At first this medication was ok, it did nothing for my psoriasis but completely removed my joint pain which was nice. However over time I went on to develop a double ear infection, and two other infections one of which I am still suffering from for the past 7-9 months. It also made my abdominal lymph nodes slightly swollen."

Humira (adalimumab) "I did my first infusion and one week later started itching everywhere. I had a skin biopsy that confirmed drug induced allergy. I've been on high doses of steroids to counter the reaction. I'm miserable. And since humira stays in your system for up to 100 days this is going to be a fun time. Never ever again."

Humira (adalimumab) "I have been taking Humira for almost 3 years with a lot of success, but a fair amount of side effects to go with it, the worst being gut problems with everything I eat, severe bloating and pain. I take 40mg every 2 weeks. As I have other side effects I am reviewing whether to continue on this medication."

"I had a terrible exacerbation of my psoriatic arthritis a year ago despite taking methotrexate. I was assessed for adalimumab and began treatment 8 months ago. I'm happy taking it. My nights are now pain-free, and my joints feel more normal, still swollen but not as stiff. It's a painful injection but only lasts a few minutes at the injection site. I inject every 14 days. So far, I haven't had any infections, but I keep away from crowds and am careful."

Humira (adalimumab) "I took Humira for 6 months to treat my PsA, and it truly changed my life (32 y/o female). Before Humira, I suffered from severe psoriasis that covered 95% of my scalp, causing bald patches and bleeding. I was often bedridden with excruciating hip and back pain, and my hand movements were severely restricted. From the moment I started Humira, my symptoms improved drastically. The psoriasis cleared up, the pain disappeared, random fevers stopped, brain fog lifted, and my hair started growing back. I felt like a kid again! Unfortunately, I had to stop taking Humira due to myocarditis, which was heartbreaking. Despite this, the improvement to my quality of life was undeniable. It gave me a glimpse of a life free from the debilitating symptoms of PsA, and for that, I am always grateful. While I experienced a serious side effect, my overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. I was just unlucky, but I won’t stop trying new biologics because the relief was life-changing."

Humira (adalimumab) "Quality-of-life saving medication. Well-tolerated. Improvement with each dose until back to normal again. Can tell the difference if dose is missed by a week or two by having a resurgence of symptoms. Humira does its job if I do mine by taking it. Excellent product for me!"

"Before: Psoriasis plaques were bleeding wounds, and pain/itching were disabling. Arthritis in fingers, which were painful, hot and swollen. After: 2 months after treatment, my psoriasis plaques are just dark areas, fingers pain free and normal. I radically improved in first 30 days of treatment."
