Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate "Midrin is lovely for my migraines. I was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen a day for them, and now I only have to take one Midrin for a headache to completely go away. There was slight nausea and a change of appetite, but that's to be expected."

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate "Five doses at best only eased migraine slightly - and at the cost of increased nausea and increased duration of migraine. Then there's the rebound headaches that last for days. Not worth it for me. Glad it works for others, though. Maxalt works, but is terribly expensive and very limited, which means it cannot be used as often as indicated."

"I take this medication along with Dramamine. I no longer experience the nausea that accompanies a migraine. My doctor also recommends 2 cans of Mountain Dew back to back as soon as I feel a headache coming on. It helps."

"So far, this medicine has been working to relieve my headaches. I have not suffered from headaches previously, and this seems like a new thing to deal with, but the medicine works well and does cause some 'upset tummy' afterward. Still worth the headache relief."

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate "Been taking Midrin for 6 years. Migraines are getting worse with age. Auras, numbness in arms, cluster headaches. Can't take Motrin anymore, doctor says I've taken too much. Midrin makes me feel like I've taken a muscle relaxer after I wake up the next day. So, the day after I take this, I feel like a zombie. Still looking for something better!"

"I have suffered from severe migraines for 30 years since a car wreck. Midrin is the only thing that works! Imitrex is a joke for me. I have tried Depakote, Inderal, Topamax, you name it! If I can't get Midrin, I guess I will be off to the ER! If you need case studies for the effectiveness of Midrin, here I am!!! No, the FDA doesn't care and would rather I suffer or pay ridiculous amounts of money for other drugs that do not work! I am irate!!!"

"I've been taking this for years. One use used to be good enough to knock out my migraine for years. Now I need 2. It even works if I'm in the middle of a migraine attack, although it takes 1 hour to kick in."

"I have taken Midrin for years for migraines, and it is the only thing I have found that really works. If I take 2 at the onset, it usually knocks out the pain. I rarely have to take more than 3 for a headache. I really love that it works so fast for me-usually less than 30 minutes. Never leave home without it!"

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate "It felt like my head was spinning so bad that I would fall if I bent over. It seemed that every nerve in my body was on the edge like a full-blown bad panic attack. It took an entire day after I took one Epidrin to come down off of the dizziness and stop feeling doped."

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate "I've had migraines for over 30 years. My neurologist prescribed Fiorinal for my migraines because they caused stroke-like symptoms. I now take Fioricet because Fiorinal has aspirin, and I cannot take aspirin, due to the fact I'm on Eliquis. If you cannot find Midrin, ask your doctor for Fioricet or Fiorinal for your migraines. Some doctors believe Fioricet doesn't take care of migraines, but it does for me. Fioricet has acetaminophen. Fiorinal has aspirin."

Acetaminophen / dichloralphenazone / isometheptene mucate "This medicine is really good, though sometimes I need to take up to 5 of them for really persistent migraines. It is very affordable, but sometimes I feel I need something other than the Elavil to really help."
