Does it work better to take lexapro in the am or pm?

Definitely at night. The sleepless nights will pass.

I take Lexapro and I take it at night. I have found that it can make me a little sleepy so if I take it before bed I can sleep better and that side effect doesn't bother me if I take it at night!
