I have taken Flagyl in the past, however it upsets my digestion system. I seem to tolerate
Z Pak well.
Will Z Pak help a diverticulitis infection?

Answers
Zpack is more for an upper respiratory infection not for diverticulitis. Please consult a doctor because I was in the hospital last year 4 times and they gave flagyl and another strong antibiotic. Can’t remember the name.
You would need to talk to your doctor. Macrolide antibiotics including Z Pak (azithromycin) are not typically used to treat diverticulitis.
