I have been dealing with panic attacks for over 15 years. They seemed to have gotten much worse over the years. I cant laugh to hard with out having a panic attack, certain things I watch on tv make me have a panic attack. Why? What can I do to stop them if anything?
Why do I have a panic attack from laughing?

Hi delmediocrebecca,
Are you taking anything for your panic attacks?
Sometimes a heart murmur can cause a panic attack, especially when laughing really hard, (one of my fave things to do!!)... is there any change you might have a murmur? This is just a small possibility and nothing to worry about.
When you are watching TV is there something specific (like violence) that precipitates your panic attack? You just might want to log them, see if there is a pattern to panic attacks. I've had them for years myself, loads of fun, no?
There are many members on this site that suffer from panic attacks, so by this evening, you should have several opinions.
The more info you give us, the better we can answer your question.
