I take 20MG of Lexapro normally around 10:00pm and last night I fell asleep and forgot to take it so I immediately took it at 5:00AM this morning and I’m wondering if I am safe to take it again tonight at my normal time. I’m afraid to take it again tonight because technically I already took it once today. Any help would be appreciated!
When taking Lexapro do you have to take it 12 hours apart?

Hi, Lexi!
Generally it's safe to take most medications as long as at least eight hours have elapsed since your last dose.
The alternative is to simply skip tonight's dose but be aware that you, if you're particularly sensitive to the drug, may experience some discomfort tomorrow (like a headache or tiredness) until you take your regular nighttime dose.
Best regards,
