I'm on Victoza since may 2016, I'm on 1.2 dose and I've lost nothing, I inject myself at night. As its suppose to suppress appetite I'm wondering should I switch to the mornings?
Does Victoza work better if taken in the morning?

Not everyone loses weight with Victoza- and if you haven't lost any since May, you probably won't. 1.2 is a low dose. The weight loss dose is 3
Are you also taking insulin or a drug like glipizide that increases insulin production? Increased insulin causes weight gain so they might be working against each other
I'm on glucophage 500mg twice a day.
I take in evenings around 6:30PM. It surpresses my appetite and lowers glucose level most of entire day. Been back on it for about 10 days and already lost about 3 pounds. I take another med Jardiance also.
I lost about 80 pounds in a year. Would like to loose a little more. I went from 265 to 180. It was slow and gradual and I felt great the whole time and it helped lower my A1C. I’m 5’10” tall and 70 years O’Dowd. I would like to loose about 20 more pounds but have seamed to quit loosing. My dosage was at 1.8 and my A1C’s run between 4.9 and5.4. Here’s hoping to loose another 20.
I didn’t realize it would cause weight loss but was perfectly happy with that side effect. Lol. How have you done with weight loss when taking this medication. Any pointers? I often wonder if taking it at a different time of the day would help. I have always taken mine at night. Thanks
