Thank you for input. I thought that was the case and she doesn't know how it could not be passed in five years of unprotected sex. I m just trying to gather information for her to get her educated.
She needs to just keep an eye on him, see what he's up to. Men get their punishment. As soon as our divorce was final, she dumped him, lolol
I know she does but we are too old to be playing games and being detectives! She just wants to know if this std can actually take that long to be passed. If not I assume she will put him out... So sad that this happens when it is concerning people's health and body!
Years ago I was diagnosed with trich and chlamydia. I knew I hadn't had sex with anyone but my husband of 20 yrs. He tried to tell me I got it from a toilet seat. I'm a nurse, I know better. I had been checking up on him. This was my first solid evidence. I left him.
He could carry it that long without knowing it, but if they don't use condoms, I don't see how he managed not to pass it to her in 5 yrs.
So trich can only be passed via sexually activity correct? No toilet seats? Having sex in a hot tub? Hormones? I'm a nurse as well... I was dx with this std and I'm having a hard time processing. I would know the answer if it wasn't ME! I need some good advice people. Specially from u kaismama lol
Okay, I have a question added to this. How long can it remain dormant in a female & how long can they go without showing sxs? I am a female, and I’ve been with my wife for 5 years now. She is at term with her pregnancy. (It was an IUI.) And with her being scheduled to deliver in less than 7 days; this past Saturday we ended up in the hospital due to her believing her water had broken. It turned out it wasn’t the anionic fluid and they tested for yeast infection, UTI, and Trich, due to the liquid and discharge. It came back Trich, but I was just checked for HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomonas vaginalis, blood test for Herpes antibodies, HPV, Hepatitis B & C, Syphilis, PID, and 2 other tests that I cannot remember the name of. This was all done during our evaluation at the office that would approve the IUI.
(Of course, there was more added like blood type, etc.) But point is that I had to have the same testing that my partner did, and I added a few due to my insurance covering them at 100% during my PAP. (Why not, if they are already getting tons of blood and swabs.) All of my tests came back NEGATIVE. She did not get all and definitely did not add to it as I did. *We have not be intimate for over a year now, but that’s due to me having surgery and then during recovery she had the IUI and then I just felt funny about it. They did send a script for me to the pharmacy and said to take it "just in case" and gave her the med at the hospital.*
