I have been taking tri-sprintec for quite awhile (2+ years). I had unprotected sex 4 days ago and I didn't take my pill on time (3 hours late but before having sex). To be more specific, this was my Friday active pill in the second week and I start taking my pills every month on Sunday. Should I consider using Plan B?
Tri-sprintec - took my pill 3 hours late, will I be protected from pregnancy?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, you did not have unprotected sex, you are protected by the pill. Taking your pill 3hrs late one time isn't going to do any harm. Why would you take plan B, its not near as effective as the birth control pill?
No, no and NO!! No Plan b! Taking your pill three hours late once is no big deal. You are still protected. Regular birth control pills are waaaayyyy more effective than Plan b anyway. I dont know why everyone seems to think that Plan b is some magical formula to stop pregnancy in all circumstances. It is a huge blast of hormones designed to do what your Tri Sprintec is already doing. Plus, you are already taking hormones, Plan b adds a lot more hormones and will increase possible side effects and mess your cycle all up. You dont want that stuff. No worries, you are still protected and you will be fine.
Thank you!!! :)
