I've taken my pill on time everyday for 3 months. I lost track of time and took my pill 5 hours late and I've taken it regulary ever since, but I had unprotected sex 4 days later... am I still protected??

You are still protected better than you would be taking nothing but it may have decreased the optimal percentage by a few points. Taken perfectly, every day at the same time, the Pill can be 98-99.9% effective, being late this once may have brought it down to 95-96% effective. You should be fine as the odds are greatly in favor that you will not get pregnant but the possibility always exists. No birth control is 100% effective except for abstinence.
