There is something called Tension Headache and you can by a whole bottle at the Dollar Tree for a dollar. And it works for more than just headaches. It works excellent for tooth aches.
The best solution is antibiotics and ibuprofen 600-800mg. And then deal with the reason with the dentist as soon as you can whether that be a root canal and cap or pulling the tooth..
At this point forget opiods for pain. Heavy dose of IB Profin works well for me. Try that.
I totally agree with the Ibuprofen. It is an anti-inflammatory. Inflamation is usually what makes an infected tooth hurt so bad. I've had BAD tooth problems for years. I do hope you get in somewhere to get antibiotics, but in the meantime, Ibuprofen is pretty good for tooth pain. Can't wait to get mine fixed! I feel your pain.
welcome to the site, you know suboxone blocks ALL other opiates right. You will have to stop your subs for several days in order for the opiates to work for pain. Taking more to try and get them to work will not work, the subs has to wear off first. Please get an antibiotic, that will help alleviate the infection reducing the pain. If you stop subs, start opiates, you will still have to go back into wd before restarting subs.
Good answer my friend, & Happy Valentines Day! ... Mary
thanks this was very helpful
Many times if you call your subs dr, they will okay and increase in your subs dose, subs does have pain med in it. The infection is increasing the pain, so, that has to be gotten under control as well.
