Is tramadol 50 mg every 8-12 hr is appropriate for 20 lb dog for post surgical pain?
My doge had knee surgery to repair torn ACL and was prescribed tramadol 50 mg every 8-12 hr, when I asked if this dose is not too high for 20 lb dog he said that it isn’t. What do you think? Thanks
My vet prescribed my dog tramadol 50mg. Is this dose too much?
He weighs 103lbs and was told to take 7 tablets every 12 hours. He is a Great Dane, 1 year old and had a neuter surgery. I’m kinda freaking out. Someone mentioned to me that was WAY too much and that I should induce vomiting. I gave him one dose of 7 pills 30 minutes ago?
