Neck Pain - Most used or best medications for a severe pinched nerve in the base of the neck?

Is gabapentin a narcotic - will it help treat severe pain?

I just started taking gabapentin 300mg 2x daily is this a narcotic and will it help my severe leg... and neck pain

I have Doxycycline Hyclate, Valacyclovir HCL 1, and Ibuprofen. (Shingles) can I take all at 1 time?

Doxy: 1 by mouth every 12 hrs... Vala 1 tablet 3x/day... Ibuprofen 1 3x/day. I have shingles and was given 3 medications.

Have ostophyteson nearly all of the bones in my neck! I have a lot of trouble taking narcotic due to strange side effects. This has done absolutely nothing for my pain! Has anyone else had the same problem?

Meloxicam - I am allergic to aspirin, which means I can not take ibproufon, aleve, advil etc... Can?

I know both are 10/325 with 325mg. of acetaminophen. One is Percocet, the other is hydrocodone. Is one stronger, better or longer lasting than the other? Which one works better for most people?
