Do I take ranitidine with food or on empty stomach or after meals?

I have been taking omeprazole for a number of years for heart burn. Recently my Dr. changed to ranitidine. (one tablet twice daily, every twelve hours. directions for taking omeprazole on a empty stomach. This prompted me to look for information as per above question.

Pantoprazole - Can pantoprazole be taken "as needed" instead of once daily?

How long until sour taste goes away with GERD?

I have been on omeprazole for 6 weeks and it did not help much. Now on Prevacid for 3 weeks, and it's better. No pain anymore, but still sour taste in the mouth. Not much during the day but closer to morning every day. Anybody had experience with this? Thanks.

Is it common for Pepcid to cause feelings of depression?

I can't remember if I took my dose of Nexium 40mg this morning. Is it OK to take one now?

Substitute for omeprazole acid reflux?

I am taking clopidogrel,generic for plavix & omeprazole cannot be taken with it because it interferes with the effectiveness of the clopidogrel. So I was told to ask what I can substitute for the omeprazole that would not be a problem with the clopidogrel.

How long after eating should I wait to take famotidine?

My doctor prescribed me 40mg of Famotidine "at bedtime" (for acid reflux and gastritis). I usually have a small bedtime snack 30-60 minutes before bed. Is it ok to take famotidine so soon after eating?
