Can you take Ambien everyday during pregnancy for severe insomnia,

My question: Is it OK to use Ambien 2.5mg on 17 hour flight? I will be traveling in business class and the seat folds out to a bed. Will this avoid the possibility of DVT (deep vein thrombosis)? I use Ambien as needed (2.5mg) at home with no side effects at all.
