scared,
I agree with Patti that you may want to ask to reduce your mg intake. I also would add that subs can give you kidney stones and kidney problems. That is another reason to reduce your amount of mg intake.
Hope this helps,

Could you please hit comment and list how high a dose you are on?
3 _ 8/2 tablets a day started at 2 /8/2 a day, then he uped me to 3... have been sick with someother problems ,so he {my Doc. said he wouldn,t mess with the dosage now , till i get , the other problems took care of , i have had back to back kidney infections in the past couple months , i have wondered if maybe sleep disorder or my counsler suggested Bi-polar ,but wouldn,t i have been diagnosed before i,m in my 50,s ,look forward to responces... signed scaredRU
So you are on 24 mgs, I realize you have some health problem but if you reduce your dose some, I think you sleep problem will ease up and then stop.since I am not a dr, I can't change your dose, but usually when sleep issues come up, a dose reduction usually helps. See if your drwill drop you a few mgs, sayndown to 20, go a few weeks, drops down again, to 16, you will probably sleep and feel better. Subs ae strange medicine, but it does help heal your brain and I bet the reduction wil get To feeling better. Patti
to try and help you with your question, is it possible that you could ask your doctor to prescibe a RX sleep-aid? that will probably help you or maybe he can put you on clonazipam which should help with the anxiety... good luck
opiate/xanax user
The use of benzos with suboxone is NOT recommended. Both meds when combined can cause slowed breathing or even be fatal. Also, when a person is on subs, they are trying to recover from a dependence on opiate, adding a benzos putsnthem in danger of developing another dependence. Old thought on subs is tha most need 16 mgs or more per day, newer treatment includes using 8 mgs of less. Subs do build up in the system, after a while, you start feeling some side effects, if the dr allows you to reduce the subs, you will likely see a reduction of side effects, they may even disappear totally.
