How strong is hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 - 325 mg compared to a hydrocodone 7.5?

I'm having extreme pain down left leg due to back problems. Hoping to find helpful solutions

Both Hydrocodone/acetaminophen prescriptions are class ll narcotic.
Hydrocodone 7.5 has 2.5 more milligrams of hydrocodone.
Both of the medications have the same amount of acetaminophen 325 mg.
Both medications are prescribed for moderate to severe pain.
