Hello! I am having the exact same issue and I was wondering if you ever solved you problem. What did you end up doing? Did you decrease the dosage? Did your cycle ever go back to normal?
Irregular periods are very, very common in women using spironolactone. In fact, it's among the most common side effect of the medication. Some women can not get regular periods on Spironolactone. Some will get regular periods by reducing the dose (especially below 100 mg) and some will get regular periods by using it only 21 days of the month and not using it for 7 days of the month. Finally, some women will get more regular periods over time. Many women combine spironolactone with a birth control pill to help with regular periods. You'll want to review these issues with your physician to determine what steps are most appropriate in your case.
