It is not really side effects. It just learning to use your mind again. Like a person who had a broken foot and needs to learn to walk again.
Added 27 Aug 2022:My doctor was slow in putting me up to 150mg. So now I need to regain mental strength. Just wondering if any of you have an advice on how to let the mind heal after going through “hell” all summer and the doc not doing anything with my Sertraline dose.
Added 27 Aug 2022:My pharmacist said it took him 10-12 weeks to fully adjust to the dose of 150mg. Anybody else needed that long to adjust?

Hello
I'm on week 4 nearly, having gone up from 50-100 mg and I'm really struggling with side effects, I feel worse in terms of energy, chest pains and bleakness. My head feels less frantic and anxiety is numbed but god I feel scared, will this mood and illness get better like everyone says? I have been on this medication before and came off too soon so know it does help, although the start is more difficult this time round as I'm in a new place and looking for a job and starting a new life... the reason I ended up in this situation. I keep beating myself up for coming off the tablets too soon. Is anyone in the same boat as me?
Hi, randy!
How long have you been taking it and is it that you're having problems with side effects? If it's side effects what specifically are you having to deal with?
Sorry for just asking questions but I'm trying to get a little more information that can help us help you.
