Yes you can. Tramadol is a controlled substance. After taking oxycodone, I wait at least 3 hours before I drive. Even if your medicine does not effect your driving, you are still driving under the influence.
Both my pharmacist and endodontist recently told me it was fine to drive on tramadol but it is a controlled substance appearantly in my state as well as 20 or so more it is illegal to drive with any detectable level if a controlled substance in your blood. Wich is totally unreasonable if you ask me if you are not under the influence you should be legal to drive.
Look up the laws of your state to see if it's ok.
It is called a pro se driving law and I was wrong acordind to the web site findlaw.com there are 15 states. "The 15 states that have per se drugged driving laws for all drivers are Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. Three of these states (Nevada, Ohio and Virginia) have certain limits for the presence of intoxicating drugs, while the other 12 have a zero-tolerance policy."
