I have been prescribed Prednisone 50 mg for 5 days for ringing tinnitus in right ear?

I'm 36 years old, white male, and I developed severe Crohn's disease with chronic inflammation, when I was 18. Due to the continuous inflammation in my guts, making passing normally, nearly impossible, they stuck me on a continued dose of Prednisone. There were periods of not being on it, but I was on it for months at a time, quite often..

Today, at 36 yrs old, I have the skeletal appearance of a 70 year old person with Osteoparosis, mainly cuz I've developed Osteoparosis myself, from the continuous Prednisone use.
When they take Xrays, instead of milky, bright white bones on the screen, they're translucent and grayish looking.

The Prednisone stripped so much calcium from my body's bone structure, and teeth, that I had to get a TOTAL dental replacement, all my natural teeth removed.
It's a tricky situation, damned if you do, damned if you don't. The question is, is your current condition which Prednisone would help, worse than the long term risk of taking Prednisone..
